Theres not a lot you can do with stripes apart from tweak a few bits. Just look at Newcastle Uniteds adidas kits through the years. They could make the back all black instead of yellow.
New Adidas Strip
agree with you there J82, unless they go for the pin strip look then I see no reason to improve the current strip - and unless it's changed dramitcally I'm not sure I'll be buying the new one.
Stripes on the back of the kit would be nice again.
Return of the black box of doom.
Ugh! Please no black box of doom...
god no! that box was god aweful, hopefully adidas won't make us go back to that
personally I would like to see the back of the 'stripey' as I cant stand it (not the actual back you understand)
and CCM goal keepers.
Just look at other kits around the world.
We'll either get:
1) a current 2012/13 adidas kit or
2) a new 2013/14 kit
As you can see, we have Stoke's old kit this year. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/11/12-kits/stoke-city-fc-201112-adidas-home-kit.html
So our new kit will look like this years (left) or maybe sunderlands (right):
Or WBA's:
need pics of the back...
Personally, I do not like the current shirt simply because there are no stripes on the back. I understand you need a big square block for the numbers etc but it can hardly be called a stripey when its only stripes on the front of the shirt and nothing on the sleeves or back.
I hate the big black box. I would like stripes on the back, but if that means the big box of doom then no thanks.
My alternative would be using something like the Zoopla on WBA shirt. The outline around the letters means that you don't need the big block on the back as it is then readable across both colours. So if we had black numbers (And names) with a yellow outline then no need for the box of doom.

I prefer Sunderland's one to be fair. But again prefer this with contrasting numbers, not black box of doom.
Also I dislike the box of Doom even with the numbers on it (Just saying)

yellow and black version of either of these with white numbers would be great.
May work.....
Away kit for the last 2 seasons has been classy. Hopefully we keep the same template.
May work.....
Agree with Topleft, Black with white outline.
May work.....
It even kind of works with black text with a white outline (not as good as white text though):
However, I do think that the best option is what this guy did during a Phoenix away game against Sydney a couple of seasons back:
iFiLL

I think you'll find that Ifill actually had a capital I. I'm not sure why. iBiNi didn't.
I'm offering up an improvement on last season's IFiLL.

While we're sort of talking names and numbers, it would be good if the club or RYOS were able to provide official name and number printing service.
Also - we need to go to odd years replacing each kit - so we get one new kit every year (assuming we use home and away for 2 seasons each) instead of 2 new kits every 2 years.
They do! - Well RYOS do anyway
On the podcast, they spoke about having a special shirt for each of the 2 or 3 home & away games next season. It is a good idea but you would probably struggle to sell enough to make it worthwhile. So rather than doing one for each venue, what about doing a special black one to use at those games?
Maybe something like the Man City Black/Grey away strip, so we can retain our stripes. We could then encourage the locals to dress in black, as we did for the 'Black out the Heart' game. It would also look ok in the Zone and All Whites games.
Also
@ardrigh yes, new kit will be released September
Please all Nix gear to get to real sizes - 4xl so i can get a thermal under it and instead of a jacket over the top.
Will they auction the one off shirts as well? Seems crazy to have a different one at each game. Are they going to theme them for the region? Black and White in Napier. Blue and White for Auckland.

I' d settle for most other options other than a stripey

Warriors currently have 6 different jerseys for sale on the CCC website (I thought there were more): Home, Away, Welly, Inferno, Pink & Heritage. That's insane...
I think home, away & alternate is a good idea, Stripey, White & Black would make sense. But a different one for each home away game is silly.

more = 20's
