Yeah I thought that but it does look relatively similar to our away kit last season in terms of colour.
He was marking the man, wasn't beaten in the air, just in a shit position to defend the cross.

Yeah I thought it might be a training kit but it is very similar in colour to last season's away strip and the shorts are the same whereas the training kit last season was completely different.

It appears to be the same as the new Middlesbrough home shirt, only with plain sleeves. The front design and pieces just under the arm, along with the shorts are exactly the same. Doubt it will be a training kit as theyre unlikely to be numbered on the backs, and most Adidas clubs are going with the new Tiro template by the looks of things. Pre season kit maybe?

I hope its just a pre season strip - that strip is honking compared to last seasons away kit.

The club is creating an event for the unveiling of the kit and the FFA has ruined the surprise by leaking a picture of it.

Yes, we know it was going to be yellow & black stripes but that doesn't make it any less of a kick in the guts for the marketing team to have an event ruined by other people. Hiding the post with the picture is an attempt to save effort that has been put in by the club, rather than an attempt to suck up to the club.

nothing is a surprise anymore, as soon as adidas emailed the club with their designs etc it was at risk of being leaked. Eother someone at adidas or the club allowed it to be released or someone got lucky with a guess.

Ah, seen it now. Looks good, would like a better pic for the colouring, I prefer a less neon yellow and looks like it delivered but can't be sure.

Would you prefer to see the showpiece of the club's event to be leaked further then? It isn't a post being critical of the club being hidden here, there have been tons of those of the years that haven't been moderated.
