How many people have created a fake account so they can "This" their real account's posts?

Permalink Permalink

It's really in the match freds where this is going to get interesting. Can't wait for the first person to post "Lia is so crap, I can't believe we signed him for another two years" someone to reply "he's a good player, when played in his natural position" and then watch the ensuing "this" battle between the two.

It's interesting seeing a few forum names pop up as endorsing posts who barely ever actually post anything themselves.

Agreed. I suspect there are actually a lot of forum users who don't post much (or at all) but still read and follow the forums very actively. This might bring a few of them out of the woodwork.

think of the karma one person could generate by "this"ing an entire thread.

What a sad indictment of society. Rage more popular than tender tortoise sex.

Didn't say popular, said responsive. We're just scared because you seem like you're on P.

Mmm know lets see you pick up the  phone then dial the number and some one says hello so you answer.

Na gotta be easier if i send them a picture if what im eating etc etc

Shit that sure sounds like progress you dont get to talk to anyone just post stupid pictures and messages.

Have to ask but what so scares the so called know generation that they cant converse in person  but feel the need for everything to be done by txt or social media.

Yep  i admit to being an old foggy but frankly having recently spent time in europe i ialong with some of them i just dont get it

Socialising online doesn't mean you don't or can't socialise in person. In fact I think twitter has meant I've become more social, I've met and said hello to a lot of nix fans who I follow on twitter (and they me) who would probably just end up being strangers otherwise. Some I even consider friends now.

It's such an annoying misconception that older generations have.

What gets me with twitter is the amount of time some people are on it. Surely they cant have anytime to have a life for example. # I just woke up. #I'm going to the fridge. # I'm having breakfast. etc etc.

Modern Techonological toys, they can be a blessing for getting the very latest from a disaster zone or they can be a curse with so called celebrities telling us absolutely everything about their shallow lives because they want/crave the attention.

Times change Steve, you even get couples/marriages splitting up via Text messages these days. Recently I saw a group of young ladies all sitting in a group texting each other rather than talking. Still it did keep the noise level to a minimum ;)

In my day we just had dialup internet and MSN messenger. Kids today don't know how lucky they've got it with their broadbands and their twatter feeds. It's creating a generation who can't even understand having to say "gtg" to a mate so their mum could use the phone. And don't even get me started on smartphones. I remember when you could only txt people on your network and Snake was the height of mobile technology.

No wonder crowds at live sporting events are on the decline...

Yeah they have this function on the DyaZ forum, which is one of the best forums around user-wise in the shape of  giving "Cans of Beans (DayZ standard unit of food), as opposed to "This".
