I actually prefer that to both the spikey and the export gold box. Much cheaper too!

So how was the spikey with the white shorts and socks.
I personally loved it. Very snazzy. ;)

Am I the only one who liked the grey kit (didnt like the obvious clash with the melb kit) and wants to buy one?

No, it was awesome. You can't buy one though... not for sale.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

I really liked it too.  Sucks we cant buy it.  I would have thought you would want to milk every penny from one of strips.

Our Phoenix Kits this season is so much cooler then the new Hurricanes Kit for next year. It looks like a boob tube. Nah worse then that.

Our yellow sports bra kit was rather naff.

Ok glad I'm not alone. was heart broken when I missed out on the grey hoopy and wanted to redeem myself with that one!

sadly I dont think I'll fit a players one if it gets auctioned - suffering from Hernandez syndrome

Away 2nd: ?

Away 3rd (and home v Victory): 50 shades

It is a nice top too. without the large Sponsor logo it would be a shirt you could wear anytime as casual wear.

Though no where near as bad as the Warriors. They have so many different kits every year they might as well as offer you a  wardrobe to fit it all in lol

Thanks, ordered a Lia 17. Also, hadn't realised until I saw this photo that the third kit is sublimated with the netting design, love it.

Cockerill in the Roar commentary last night said that grey was our official away kit.

He's wrong too.

Yellow Spikey is the primary kit.
Black Searchlight is the secondary kit.
Grey Sash is the third kit.

If anyone recorded the game; he said it sometime int he first half. I got the impression from the way that he said it that he was stating something that he previously hadn't believed was true. As if he was surprised to have learned the grey was our official 2nd strip. I don't know but otherwise it makes little sense that FFA were meant to have ordered us to wear the grey strip. Not sure what basis they could really do that unless we had registered the grey as the 2nd kit and they were just making us adhere to some kind of agreement/requirement [ie: must wear 2nd strip when playing away unless given permission by FFA to wear otherwise].

It doesn't really matter but I thought it interesting.

I am not sure where to put this comment to be honest. So here is the story and I am asking advice on how to deal with it. Mods I have copied it from the things that piss you off thread to get more exposure so to speak. Feel free to delete or advise.

My wife knows this lady whom two weeks ago purchased a Size "M" Stripey for $30 on trade me (Who are now looking into it) from a guy using the name Luke Meadowcroft. The jersey was paid for but never arrived and all attempts to contact the guy are not getting a result. His email address has him down as Luke Wayne.

Tis the season for Cons, but having spoken with the woman, she is not trying it on but I do think she's has been ripped. She lives in Upper Hutt.

I wouldn't normally publish a guys name on here but if anyone on here knows the guy and if there is a genuine reason for him not sending the lady the stripey for her 15 Year olds Xmas present, then we can pass it on. Perhaps there is just a delay but then not answering emails makes me suspicious.

I am wondering whether or not to approach the club and see if the Xmas spirit is alive with them and get one. Or if I should give him one of my own Autographed players jerseys but it is the original one in black. (Carl Dodds, or Plodders or Kwasnics)

What do you people think. Needs answers asap, it's nearly Xmas.

One vital piece of information for me.  what kind of postage did she choose (courier or post)?

If she chose post then there is the possibility of lost in the post.  I used to sell a lot on TradeMe and items would occasionally get lost in the post, but I made a point of writing a disclaimer that if you chose standard post, it might not turn up and that's not on me.  Still had people accuse me of shark none the less.

the second name is weird and worthy of looking into, BUT he could be the child of divorce or may have taken his wives name and gotten married\divorced so its feasible for a surname change.

What about feedback? is there lots of negative feedback? If so, report it to police if there is no response (or at least threaten with police first).

Also how long ago did she buy it?  If its only a couple of days then delays can be expected.

You have nothing to lose by emailing the club, but there may be nobody in the offices today (no idea but a lot of places at a minimum close early today).

He may have just not posted it yet for some reason. In saying that, post within NZ can be ridiculously slow. I've had stuff turn up from Australia quicker than stuff from Auckland.

I'm picking it's a replica. I bought it at auction a while back as part of a Victorian Bush Fire appeal. Wendy's were a Phoenix sponsor and were given it by the club as part of their sponsorship arrangement and the owners here were Australian and were raising money for back home.

Hey guys, I have a question about the Searchlight.

How come the Phoenix never made a kids size away kit this season? I would have thought about buying one next year if they did. I prefer it more than the spikey.. I only fit in a kids size 15-16 :(

I don't see it anywhere. But on both NZ and AU Adidas online stores, I see Melbourne Victory have theirs...

Have the Nix ever had kid size away kits? I'm sure if they released one this year, it would have sold a lot more than the bib from last year.

EDIT: Same deal with longsleeves

Wasn't there talk of being a commemorative 10 year kit next season? I wonder if it will be for the whole season or worn as a one off
