Our first newsletter has been released. Did you all get one??  It was sent to last years WPX members. We would welcome any feedback.

I haven't got one yet, is it released to the email address of the person who purchased the tickets or to anyone who has clicked on the newsletter link on WPX website?

Got mine yesterday.  Top work. Just one point. Can you stick the nix at the top of the results table. You know, sign of things to come and all that.

I haven't got one either. But it may have been sent to my flatmate's email as we got our season passes on his Ticketek account, although he now lives in Sydney.

However, I did email the friendly people at the club and called Ticketek last year to change my details before my flatmate left, and I have received emails from the club before regarding membership stuff, but alas no newsletter...

Nice and brief, good marketing to attach the links to your website to read the whole artical too - will boost your traffic and exposure.
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.

Any chance of people who weren't members last year getting the newsletter?

I haven't had anything, but my work email has changed since last year. I have emailed Tamara to ask her to check, as she had previously updated my details for something and I thought it was all the same database.  SiNZ2008-06-05 11:29:06

Now that's service. An instant response:
"We are trying to clean up the Ticketek database but it has gone into a system called Memberlink.  You will be able to renew your membership and update all your details from here on Monday!"
Sounds like a cool development with a self-service membership database philosophy.

When I first read the post from 'theprof' it looked as though he was suggesting there's a time limit on getting the tickets - this is not the case...sorry if I'm the only one that read it that way!

Just to clarify, the timeframes should be:

June 9 - season tickets are available to renew (e.g. for existing members - from last season)
June 23 (or thereabouts, I think) - available to the general public

You might be able to pull a sneaky a few days before either of those, depending on your connections I guess - and they're not officially-set-in-stone-like.

With the pricing structure, it's still probably worthwhile to look at membership even if you miss/'walk-up' (buy a ticket on the day) to the first few games, so...September/October?

Definitely worthwhile too - savings of anywhere between 20-40% on gate prices, depending on what 'type' of ticket you are.
There'll also be various 'member benefits' with our sponsors, as well as AMAZING newsletters etc...

Hope this helps for anyone considering/wondering.

I was wondering about that as I am away OE for September.....is it still worth getting a silver membership from Oct onwards?   I'm not sure on the costings so I can't work it out. Can you still buy memberships in OCT?

probably just as easy to walk inbehind your mate at the turnstiles, can fit 3 people through those turns for one ticket - helps with the lack of security at front gate for phoenix as their all standing on 21 making sure you sitting in your right seat.

For those who have not received one we will put it on our website shortly. Going forward it will be sent to 2008/09  members so ensure Ticketek has your correct email address.

so, we as existing members, get dibs on the seats around us unallocated to members, first, so you can get your mates in as well before they go on general sale

So just to clarify.... On Monday, we visit the Phoenix website and transact our renewal there? Or do we visit Ticketek? Tamara's email implied the former, but she may have meant the plan for future seasons.

I'm the same Ballance, I'm the same. I got an email from Football Australia today too...

But on a positive note, that is awesome that existing members can also get tickets for friends and family who are not yet members when renewals come out.

Block booking sounds awesome - me and a mate are planning on getting another mate a season pass, looks like we'll be able to do it sooner rather than have to wait for the general public sale!
