Agree. Was surprised that he locked in Denmark before the Cup. Callum took the option not to. Let’s hope they both have great seasons. At this point I’m wondering what Nando’s next season holds in store.

Would be a guess, but something between $500,000 & $1,000,000 up front, which I think is fair considering the profile of the club. Would be a huge transfer for the A-League too. Add on clauses for X amount when he makes his first team debut and another clause for say when he makes his 100th first team appearance. I would say a sell on clause too, but if he makes it over there, he's already at one of the bigger clubs in world football, and they tend to keep players for a good portion of their careers, so don't know if there would be a point.
You guys keep forgetting that he's being signed to Bayern II. The current market value of that entire team is under 6mil Euro, and a third of that goes on the Korean winger who's already made appearances for the first team.

In theory, yes, both training development and solidarity payments.
FIFA regulations talk very explicitly about clubs receiving training compensation and solidarity payments (unless the club/s involved cease to exist in the meantime). I guess it really depends on what the actual arrangements and fine print was in those set-ups, and I don't have any real understanding of that.

Why? If you're referring to the licence issue, imports are often only on a one year deal anyway? I'd have thought it would actually be less of a big deal than for a NZ or Australian player looking for a bit more stability.
