Unless Gifu intend to release him or it's a loan I don't think that could be De Vries. His contract doesn't expire until next year and correct me if I'm wrong but it's been ages since we paid a transfer fee.

Not impossible. Looking at how Gifu are going this year, it may not be the happiest of places. Certainly agree that photo looks like De Vries, but also the TAWH with a different haircut call is a good one too (and more likely based on what we've heard during week).
