I have been watching football for 40 odd years now and I think I could confidently say that was the most blatant penalty that was not given. I suppose in the refs defense, the trip was so far behind the ball it was probably hard to beleive that Boogard did actually bring him down.... Nahhhhh f**k it that mistake was in-defenceable and the referee is a cock!

..to far behind play probably had alot to do with it.....I reckon he kept Siggy on so didn't want to send one of there's off...MAKE UP CALL...total crap decsion...he only booked Ifill later because the 4th offical reminded himas we get closer to the finals will get more of these decsions...SAME OLD AUSSIE...ALWAYS CHEATING

The incident happened. And the ref miustakenly booked Daniel. Then the 4th official told him in his earpiece he had booked the wrong bloke. So he rescinded Daniel's card. Then, soon after that, he booked Ifill. There was confusion as to whether Ifill's booking was for diving or for dissent. The commentators said shortly after that they were hearing from the sideline that it was for dissent.
As noted, later in the game Daniel was booked for another foul...

Well I had scoreline and 2 of 3 scorers, times a bit on the piss though.
Loved that win. Ifill was pure class. Smith I thought had a superb 1st half, went a bit quieter in the 2nd though.
