Coming back from holiday through Welly and thinking of slightly amending it and staying for a night to watch this game. I'm wondering if u guys know of any place where 3 can stay under ~$180 or so incl. parking close to the stadium. ($30 parking at the game, wow)

Just needs to be decentish (3 stars qualmark minimum really) Any suggestions? :)

Yeah been searching through it. Where exactly is the stadium in the city anyway? Would be great to find something walking distance.

Oh and also, whats the difference between gold, silver etc tickets?

The stadium is within walking distance of almost everywhere. And if you not, almost all buses (and all trains) will take you to the doorstep of the concourse.

Try the backpackers over the road from the railway station, friends of mine stayed there for the world cup and said it was ok. And you can hardly get much closer to the stadium.

The Kingsgate Hotel is the closest hotel to the Stadium and they have some great rates for Friday night.

CCM away have a good record of scoring +5 GD with only Victory better with +7. Nix tho at home top with +15 and conceded only 7 goals in 12 matches thus far.  It wont be a walk over and we will have to be on our game, but can we do it? Yes We Can!

The main thing will be stacking the RoF with as many people as possible. Tell them it's a Finals match if you have to.

If we don't get over 10K for this game, I would be highly surprised (given the recent media talking about us being in the Finals).

Or you could go to the game then go back in time and go to it again. However, according to Futurama, one of the duplicate "you"'s would be inevitably doomed.

Too much space-time continuum distortion.  best avoided (and it's hard to get Saphire and Steel at short notice to fix it all)

Why not go to the game but also record it then watch it afterwards, or watch the replay = going to it twice. QED

Lawrie's talkin (well, tweeting) about the kids having a chance for Friday as they've a few out.

Don't say the "C" word please! No, not that one - of course you can say c**t.

What's the vibe in Wellington this week? Are lots of people talking about the Nix? Expecting a significantly larger crowd than usual?

Wish I was there.
