And now I see Vince ready for war

Ifill certain to score
And Reddy screaming

Phoenix on the shirt
Ring of Fire still gleaming
No more years of hurt
No more need for dreaming

Aside from natural nerves about a game which means so much against a team with nothing to lose I have a nagging worry about our discipline - I would hate us to blow it because someone does something stupid and gets sent off.

Manny was a red card waiting to happen against GCU and some of our tackles were a bit over the top. Passion and commitment got us through but I hope we can harness and direct it over the next few weeks.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Anyone know when/if CCM are training here and if it's open?

I've got a Tee-Shirt I'd like one A. Elrich to sign.

I have managed to persuade 20 guys from work to head along to the ROF and I am confident that, after another day of talking up the Nix, there will be around 30 work mates cheering on the Nix to a historic victory!

Hopefully everyone on this forum will be going hard out to recruit fans to the big game?

This. More goals, more assists, more awesomeness (which is difficult to measure to be fair).

I'd be surprised to see him included in their squad.

Word has it bench will be Dadi, Daniel and one of Caceres or Bertos, with the other starting.  No Siggy.

If Caceres wife pops out a sprog in the next 24 hours Siggy onto the bench I presume. Tough lesson for Siggy to learn, hasn't had a decent look in since his brain snap.

I feel for the guy - you can tell he is itching to get back on the park.

It is not however the best use of a bench spot to have a CB specialist take up one of the three out field spots - Dadi, Daniel and Caceres would be my bench. I think Bertos did enough when he came on last week to earn a start.

When you also remember Mrdja and McGlincy are out for CCM their team looks severely depleted.

Good on Caceres for admitting he was sh*t against GCU. Takes balls. He's got 'em.

You need to change your media habits then.  Plenty of coverage on Radio Sport and TV3.

On top of the already extensive injury list, Nathan Sherlock suffered a leg injury at training in Wellington this morning, meaning a late call up for Bernie Ibini-Isei.

Huh, imaging that.. Yeah it was Sherlock.
I failed to see his number properly in clear photo's I got.

Just did an image search.. They look nothing alike. Ibini-Isei mst be jetting his way to nz now, he wasn't there today. Matt Simon (Not a very impressive name drop) did tell me that they were down on number for this trip.Stefan2010-02-11 20:22:45
