Cant help but think we'd be at least a couple more down if Paston was on
Wow, it's not enough for him to be benched? You have to abuse him when he's not even playing? Pretty poor.
Not sure that constitutes 'abuse'?

Moss for PM!
I'm still miserable incidentally as I had what seemed like a crazy bet of $2.50 on Phoenix 3-1 at 50/1!!
But, pretty good performance, and makes you wonder what might've been this season. If Ricki had been booted earlier...(couldn't resist!).
The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.
Happy with that - Burns all sad and mopey
So very drunk , so very happy. Well done , fellas. Well done Greenie , good for you.
Burns came across well in the interview, I was a bit surprised considering how he usually plays. He didn't seem so dirty today either.
Sunday Shooutout being shown on: http://www.justin.tv/appleguts2_0#/w/5134245376
Happy for Greenacre!
Obviously he wasn't the problem............SACK GOULD!

Alex Tobins:
3 - Ifill
2 - Nagai
1 - Moss
Burns should probably just stick to music.

Queenslander 3x a year.
You could see how much that win meant to Greenie there at the end. He was fair bursting with pride.
Top effort and well deserved.
Do you think if you guys finish with a flourish and win your final game that Greenacre may be in with a serious shout of securing the post full-time?
It was a grand effort, you should be proud. Pleased Hoggy had a good game, interesting both he and Lochhead played. Maybe they can play together.
The club will probably keep him on as an assistant. If they are serious about developing talent and pathways, then having a spell under the new coach to learn and set up for a crack at probably being a Phoenix Head Coach sometime in the future is a good idea. Considering the investment in him so far and what he has produced for them, it could suggest he has some coaching talent. I mean he ditched the traditional DM player, played a LB at RB and then pinched points in Perth. That just sounds all kind of wrong.
Greenie himself has said not yet.
Grumpy old bastard alert
so I recall Moss with a great save after he made a weak punch straight out in front of his goal to set up the shot...?
Miller and Burns should fire their hair dresser
In a league of players with some very dodgy haircuts, Liam Miller is king!
" If you only have a hammer you tend to see every problem as a nail" - maslow
unreal result. this is the phoenix i love to watch.
rojas, so special
PauI Ifill's only goal from open play all season
Sums up the year right there........

yeah why not, a new coach may want to bring in his own assistant but if the encumbent is still contracted he can't just rip it up, same as any player on the books. When his contract expires however.

I'm not sure, either way Greenie will have to put his case forward - a new coach may want a new assistant or he may see the connection that Greenie has with the players as a positive
Queenslander 3x a year.
It can go either way, an incoming coach can be told who is staff are, or an incoming coach can be allowed to bring his own backroom staff in. Neither situation is particularly uncommon in world football, or even in the A-league.

One slight difference in the past few weeks is that the players look like they may care a bit again, which suggests RH may have well overstayed his welcome. Nothing like fresh blood to get things happening again, even if he has been there a few years.
No matter who comes in next year, I hope Greenie is around in some capacity. Maybe TW is a good idea if he can't keep the ass role

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
