D-Mac is doing comments?? Why is a current player doing comments?

In the NZ NBL Casey Frank is the actual commentator, but also plays for Auckland

True! and he does a good job of it too Casey. He isn't an NBL player however... I just think its a bit wrong for a player of a different team to add their two cents worth on a team they will play again this year. Best to focus on your own and let the rest do their own.

Yep, trying hard not to get too excited myself. I don't think I've ever felt less emotion at a Nix goal ever. Browny looked as miserable as if he had scored a consolation goal in an 8-1 thrashing. (Now why the f**k did I say that...?)

Not sure you can call an Equaliser a consolation goal...

An you can't say we deserved it as D-Mac said...

It was an open goal. Ward served it up on a plate.

Careful,  people get upset if you say they make a mistake (although I think they should be given a rev up when they play back).  Apparently some ppl think its ok if "they try hard"

No, people think its silly comparing players having to perform after transtasman travel in a competitive professional football league to you having to 'perform' in a business meeting after transtasman travel.
The difference being?   Oh sorry do you want a tissue

If you can't see the difference between having to physically perform in a clearly measurable environment, and subjectively perform in a meeting I really can't help you.

Agree. And you'll notice the cold towels on the head at half time and also we are wearing short sleaee shirts. We always wear long sleeve... Maybe its the heat in the physically demanding environment as opposed to the air conned office...

I can remember traveling for 8 hours by bus after work on a Friday to play on Saturdays when I played in the Central League,  a flight to Brisbane aint so bad I dont think.

This and Brown has missed a few sitters on his record.

The thing that is annoying me at the moment is that the lads are taking too long on the ball and allowing these super-fast Pussycats to dispossess them. Can we try some more one-touch?

Wow. Did I just see 11 Brisbane players on their feet during that whole attacking phase?

It's going to take a superhuman effort for someone to dislodge Mr A Durante from our man of match award. He's been superb.

I know, I know, its serious!

This... so much this. We take too long, think about it and then gift it to them.

If it is a hip-flexor, from what I have seen in other injuries of that type they tend to be niggly and take weeks to recover. Hopefully it is more precautionary than anything.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and let everyone know you are.

If you cant see the comparisons to business (the players job is to play) Then when you are given an example of travel you dont want to know.  Take a tissue,  ask you mum to hug you when she tucks you in tonight - End of

If only we had another striker, or just a Smeltz type, we could nick this sort of game.

I just wish Daniel would realise that maybe whipping it in 9 feet off the ground for someone who's barely 6ft isn't a good idea...

A flight to Brisbane is bad because it doesn't matter how long it takes you to get there, you still end up in f**king Brisbane!

You are right,  we are still creating the odd chance too.  Unless someone gets a knock or something I think we should leave as is.  Boys are doing well
