Watch the video and tell me that her hands are the physical attribute that sticks in your mind.

Yeah I didn't look at her hands once.

Presume Chris Milicich is the coach of the NZ U20 team and many thanks for the clarifications. Right now, Wellingtonians are mad about their beloevd Wellington Phoenix club and Wellington Phoenix team and any actovity related to WP will stir heaps of interest.

Just leave this low key kick around to them. Play and support your own game, if it is on, that counts.

WP won't field the first team because otherwise, it SHOULDl give the NZ U20 a hiding. NZ U20 won't have all the strongest players and would just field a team. So, keeppassing interest becaue NZ U20 SHOULD win the Oceania playoff and realU20competition starts at the World Cup!!

If you have $50, make sure that you support Wellington Phoenix and you may even get 2 REAL games out of this.

The NZ v Paraguay game is just another kick around, stay at home and watch it on SKY. NZF has fleeced the kids big time and we don't want more people getting fleeced!

Why you so mad?

Any word on Bambang's performance?

I worked 12.5 hours yesterday and was too lazy to get up on time to head out there...

Bambang looked all right - offers something different. Not sure if we'll sign him but he wouldn't be out of place - came on and played with Greenie for 15 minutes, and then played the rest with Pavlovic.

Toto was very impressive for the first 15 minutes he was on, then drifted a bit. But boy, some of his touches are just lovely.

Pitch wasn't great, Brown had a tap in but it stopped in the puddle in the goal mouth which was funny, and Leo scored direct from a corner. Weather bollocks.

Fun though, good to trip out there.

Paulie played the second half - Durante went off after an hour and Paulie took the captains armband.

Started Paston, Hearfield, Durante, Sigmund, Muscat, Bertos, Brown, Lia, Daniel, Greenacre, Pavlovic.

Lochhead, Ifill, and Toto played the second half (I missed the very end) with Bambang coming on after about 55 minutes. Pavlovic and Hearfield came back on. Durante went off, looked a bit injured, but there didn't seem to much concern about it. Gouldy replaced Paston.

Musa looked pretty quality for the under20s.

Heard Piney on the radio, said he was very impressed by Toto. Sounds promising.

Sounds like Lochhead won't be playing against Gold Coast.

just got back - saw only the second half

toto looked good - not perfect, turned it over a few times, but happy with that as he was looking to make things happen.  made some great passes, seemed very good picking out free players with flicks and short aerial balls.  beat a few players one on one, looks like good pace
also got around well, including one track back to cut out one of the few dangerous U20 runs into the box
he spent a fair bit of the half after daniel went off playing left wing with brown central.  i'd have liked to see him central

Nix generally looked strong, moved it around well, pick-pocketed the U20s regularly

Bambang when he did get on didn't get a lot of the ball but was in the right place twice, once for a header from a ball accross goal that he didn't quite get on the end of and one bringing a hard cross down nicely in the box and a snap shot wide.  Not enuff for me to form an opinion.  With him and Toto on we were definately small up front

6-1 and the goal to U20 was a paston jubalani special, patting a ball to ground that was pounced on.  Couldn't see why he didn't hold it

maybe a thousand people there enjoying the game? well worth a look

may be a blit slow here... but what makes you think that?

Game was a good. As said above the southern of the pitch was sloppy.
You can't fault Corey Chettleburgh for effort...

Toto was as said above. Some nice touches.

Worth going along
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Bambang looked good (well worth signing) on a dry pitch I think he would be a handful as would Toto. Best moment of the match was Gouldies goal kick not making it out of the box.

The U20s didn't look that good, some strong boys in there but alot of kick and hope with little skill or tactical awareness. Although the keepers played well and both looked quite good. I guess it will be a different team with the addition of the overseas contingent.

liked the look of bambang

apart from the chances mentioned above, he laid the ball off well a couple of times and beat a man one-on-one with a cheeky little touch at one point, i thought he looked quite good and would be comfortable at a-league level

moment of the match for me was brown's 'goal' LOL he was on his way back to halfway, he had no idea that it hadnt gone in
