If they didn't want to get banned, they shouldn't have been letting of multiple flares every week. Good for us though, we need to capitalise on their silence by scoring a goal.

This.
I think they are protesting a bit too much. Interesting that of the 20 or so that are 'innocent' they choose not to offer up the guilty parties. That's just a big con job and is similar to getting caught on camera with your hand in the till pinching the cash then whinging that its illegal cause the boss never told you about the cameras.

Hmmm I dont like the look of this.. Still worth playing our best team I reckon.

"As for whether Muscat would keep his position in defence, Greenacre again danced around the question.

"We are also looking to set things up for the future of the club so I'm hoping maybe to bring in one or two other players who maybe you've not seen and that's purely down to the future of the club," Greenacre said.

"So you might see one or two new faces, just one or two things we are contemplating. I don't really want to go in to who those players are but we've got players that we haven't seen so that's something we may look at in the last couple of games."

As for who those players could be, Cameron Lindsay, Ian Hogg and Michael Boxall have all been used sparingly this summer and may be given a chance to forward their case for a bigger role next season."

squad of 16 - Lindsay & Cernak added.

Expect Gameiro further forward and perhaps cernak to enter the midfield role. Unless cam is given a shot from the start?

I still do not understand what Tyler Boyd has done to deserve to start in the A-League.

He's young, he has shown some promise but that's it - he's clearly not quite ready.  Stop pushing it, this season isn't make or break, he's 18 and we've signed him for 3 years.  Leave him alone to develop properly and get him back into the side next year with a proper plan for where he's going to play and how that's going to happen.  He doesn't need to prove himself

well i imagine greenacre will want to keep the same shape and keep gamiero where he is? i guess cernak coud slot in where gamiero was and gamiero could move up front sure. not pushing anything. if anything i wouldn't have played him as much and looked earlier in the season about signing guys like cernak and gamiero

Gameiro said in an interview a couple of days ago that he was playing in a deeper role, more of an attacking midfield role, against WSW.  I suspect he'll be pushed further forward and we may see Lindsay come into the midfield (assuming we keep the same shape) or Cernak may swap at the tip of the diamond.  I assume the fact they've brought Lindsay into the squad means that a decision hasn't been made for him yet about next season and he may play

Think gameiro will go back up top with Huysrgems out. He mentioned telling the coaches he'd rather play there after last week.

However Boyd will be worth a shot at ST as well if Cernak isn't fit enough to start. He has done a lot more to earn a start than many other nix players have done. Probably higher than Sanchez. And I'd even argue that he's done more than Ifill this season, bar maybe these past few games.

However this game probably isn't the best time to throw him in

Lst time we were in Taupo we were watching A-League at Finn McCuhals.  That was a couple of years back now though.  Your other problem could be league clash.

Bumped into your goes doing a signing at Welly airport just now, they also had Pasty in-goals for penalty kicks, they wouldn't let me take a shot unless I took off my blue shirt....

:(

Guys were pretty good natured though, I got a "who let him in?" from Leo & Sea Monster plus a photo with Durante holding up the NZ passport.
