Nix vs Brisbane Roar, Sunday 7pm SS3

Game Day, yusssssssssss.  Put a lazy $5 on the Phoenix, so here goes.  Being a Phoenix supporter these days is a bit like being a Liverpool supporter - so heartbreaking at times.  As one wit put though, I don't have the life skills to cope with being a supporter of Liverpool - and that is how I sometimes feel with the 'Nix. So up and down, like a roller-coaster.   Would just like us to thrash a side, and surprise us all.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

I'd just be happy if we keep them down to 2 or 3 goals, the way things have been going lately..

With Lia at RB how long into the game before he gets a card?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Lia at RB is always a disaster. Crap.

As an Queenslander and ex Roar player, I think Cernak could be the one to shine today.

Reckon he will be trying to prove a point.

"It means a reshuffle with Vince Lia moving to right back, Isaka Cernak dropping into midfield with Manny Muscat and Tyler Boyd joining the attack alongside Paul Ifill, Louis Fenton and debutant Corey Gameiro."

Game day fire up. Coyn

On our way to the game to create loud noises

Does that mean Cernak is dropping back to play with Muscat, or that Muscat and Boyd are going forward into the attack?

Will be Lia into RB, Cernak into DM, Fenton into AM, Boyd onto wing imo.

Thought so, but grr, bad grammar!

That's not me being a Nazi, that is me reading something completely different to what was meant. I even asked Piney if he knew why Manny was being moved into attack.

I'm skiving off one of my regular commitments to watch tonight's game. The boys better not make me regret my decision.

I had to palm off one of my regular humiliation/diapering clients to another dominatrix.

Seriously, I'm not telling you my private life. :)

big day for NZ sport- what are the chances of 3 good results?

no overwhelming favourites- Nix and cricketers certainly don't have the form- though black caps and Miss Ko have put themselves in with a grin.

Hopefully the 'Nix can do the same and better!!

Fark at WSW their bench: Mooy, Haliti and Shannon Cole- you'd think at least two of them would be automatic starters for us, if not all three.

Still feeling the effects from staying up for Rovers this morning. Hoping I can get 2 wins today! #DontStopBelievin

Wellington Phoenix @WgtnPhoenixFC

Phoenix tonight: Moss Lia Sigmund Durante Lochhead Muscat Cernak Ifill Boyd Fenton Gamiero Subs Paston Bertos Huysegems Sanchez #ROARvNIX

Leo on the bench? Didn't we take a 16th man over to Brisbane?

Feeling the same! Except from the perspective on an Arsenal fan - I need a lift!

Congrats btw, defended well.

The way the Nix have been playing, perhaps they could employ "The 12th Man":. At least we'd get some decent laughs for our money. Still, fingers crossed for a surprise away win!

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Seems he is fit enough to sit on the bench, but not enough to start. Was in the news article, I didn't read.

Will still get a higher rating than the RoF no doubt. Guess route one might not be a bad option today?

Although he's not even playing? That WILL go down in the history books.
