I think Smith could fill in at CB, at a pinch. He wins almost ever header, when he is at DM, and makes good tackles.

Couldn't agree with you more Jeff V - leo has been a total liability this season and is keeping better players out. His crossing has been extremely poor, he regularly loses the ball, loses his way with ball at feet and pulls out of tackles. Either drop him totally or try him at RB i sayGladbach2012-01-07 12:42:27

Ifill and Pantelis' injuries mean Leo is only really competing with Ward now that Daniel is starting. Ward isn't as good wide, so I think Leo starting is totally justified right now.

Andezinho. Excellent. Lump him twice and he's gone.
Get Brown to do it - Anderzinho carted off, Brown sent off ans suspended for the following game too. Result.

He will be marked by Manny again, he will just look at him and Andezinho will want to be back in the sheds.

That would be the result of the season in my book. I wouldnt even have him in our matchday squad.
The law of averages would suggest that he may score this weekend. He has been absent every week and missed about 4 clangers in a row.

My mate from Auckland is down atm, popped his Phoenix cherry against Sydney, thus he is coming back for me against Perf tomorrow. He also bought a nice new stripy to boot.
We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Need the three points here.
Wonder what attitude Perth will come over with. Last time it looked like they tried to bore their way to a 0-0 draw in what was a pretty poor game to watch.
Don't mind Ifill off the bench - so far we have been doing the job at home without him. Let's ease him back in.WPFC12012-01-07 18:42:57

I assume that there will be a minutes silence at the game today.
I would seriously hope so.
Would it be possible to get everyone to put their arms around eachothers shoulders during this in the zone? Show our support for those effected by the tragedy yesterday morning.
Also, show our support to long time Fever member and mate.
At such a tragic time.
Much love Coxey. Stay strong.

What will it take to abandon the game apart from a natural disaster or thermonuclear war?

What will it take to abandon the game apart from a natural disaster or thermonuclear war?
If the pitch becomes water logged I think both captains can agree to call the game off?? I recall one game at Westpac where this was considered but didn't happen in the end.

What are the chances the game will be called off if this weather keeps up?I know that Westpac drains pretty well but with a whole day of this it may not be playable.

So three players may well play their 100th games at Westpac after all?

I remember that game, I went to it. I think it was the 1st home game of the season vs Nth Qld Fury last season or the one before that.
