But more Wgtn fans travelled to Akld than to Dunners.

Plus, let's face it, it's called Dorkland for a reason.

I see a sickie coming... dodnt get photographed and you will be fine..

Timmy cannot be faulted for commitment. Hugely impressed with his efforts.

Plus I gotta be at work at 4am the next day. If I took the Friday arvo off it *would* be possible, but it would be pretty much a 9 hour drive with a football game in the middle. Getting a few hours off wouldn't have been the issue.

Warriors always get crowds even when they're shit, sell tons of gear and have like 10 jerseys at 180 a pop.....

This is just not factual - Warriors have had to endure terrible crowds in tough times just like the Nix now. I've seen them play games in front of 5-6k.

As for the Breakers, everybody loves a winner, but even so, their sell-out crowds are in the region of 8-9k, and quite a few in the 3-4k range, which obviously sounds a lot less impressive.

yeah the breakers may sell out alot but they only have small arenas to fill, not a 36k seater like the nix

Queenslander 3x a year.

50 minute highlights of the match on sky sport 1.  Very disappointed no full replays have been put on by sky in a decent time slot.

More random stats: Nix hadn't won in 5 games (conceding 14 goals, scoring 5) before playing Perth in Auckland, hadnt won in 4 before Dunedin....

Accept this but the Phoenix weren't out of play-off contention in February, nor had they just lost their head coach amid massive negative press reports.

Sellouts very much a recent occurance too. I saw them at NSEC v Peth two summers ago crowd around 2800 from memory.
