Both the ASB Prem website and the ACFC site say that the game is at Kiwitea.

It could well have changed. Prior to Xmas, it was always at Eden.

This is our annual showcase of the A-League and the Nix to the Auckland public. Last years game was dire. Sure hope this is going to be a better occassion with some good football, a few goals and a Nix win. However we are playing the Glory. All of the most absolute worst football experiances in my whole life have been watching the Nix play Perth. When you have two teams who first objectives are to stop the other from playing then it can be a terrible game.

Hopefully the Nix will turn it on and play some football....the games I have seen of Perth playing this season hardly inspire. Shame its not Sydney. The bling of having Del Piero plus they are quite beatable would mean a big big crowd who would go home happy.

Hopefully who ever is promoting this game will remind the punters to pre buy their tickets....last year was a fiasco with everyone arriving late and queueing.

Auckland was a fun trip last year...I recommend any one considering it to do it....you could day trip it even.....there is time to get from Eden park post match to catch the last flight to Wellies. The stadium is ferkin awesome and there could be 20k + people

Just realised that we should be brushing up on our Spanish for this trip.

What is Spanish for "beer please"?

Expecting a big game from Sanchez.

Took two weeks for mine to arrive. I don't understand why they don't email them, it makes no sense to send them in the mail.

Our tickets arrived today - just over a week.

Any idea where row AA is (hope it's not right at the front)?

Yeah I thought it was a bit suspicious since I hadn't heard about it...

WTF? Didn't even know. My deal cost me $130 all up without a motel room, but this offer would have saved me a bit of time. Still at $45 to fly up and $19 to fly back I am happy with my deal.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

So now they're just chucking the yellow fever name on things, yet not even consulting with yellow fever on anything anymore. Interesting.

It's a group of Richmond Athletic footballers (His dad's club in Nelson) that are behind the Jubilee Park Legends. I live in this city and it was the first I heard about it, but sounds like a good deal and hopefully more to come down the line. I know their first one was the Jeremy Brockie tour from Nelson to his first game against Sydney.

Lots of posters advertising the game on Dominion Road this morning. May be bad timing.

With only two weeks to go the timing won't get much better. 5000 people at Eden Park is going to be a terrible atmosphere.

Well, screw it. I'M going to be there, I'm going to sing and dance and chant my heart out, I'm going to write NIX across my breasts in marker so it'll show if (miracle of miracles) we take our shirts off at 80 minutes, I will show support for my boys even though they're in the crapper right now. And I expect the rest of you guys to do so too.

I refute the belief that if we boycotted the rest of the season it would give Welnix a wake-up call. It would just leave them to shrug their shoulders, toss the licence and close down the Nix. Gareth Morgan doesn't care that much, but WE do. Let's consider sacking Ricki and a dozen players in April, but right now, let's back the lads.

Oh I'm not saying that we should bail, I'm saying that it's unlikely the people who aren't true Phoenix supporters like us will. The players need our support now more than ever before, and I'll be travelling up to support the boys through thick and thin.

I liken this game to going to the wedding of a cousin you don't really like. You know you'll have to weather a couple of painful hours, but you also know there's gonna be a good piss up at the end so it makes it worth it.

And we get to see D's breasts if we are winning.
