Seriously, why would Sky televise this? They dont televise competitive NZFC games, so why show our reserves taking on Waitak in a friendly?
Phoenix have known support and like why would they show Perth vs Newcastle then??

Phoenix have an average of 6,500 to our games this year, not enough to make it commercially viable nationwide. And why show Perth Newcastle, because it is part of a competition.

Indeed, but you'd think nzfc.co.nz would be running a text commentary on the website - I think more people would be interested in this game than Canterbury v Otago (for instance). Maybe not.

How many people go to a game has nothing to do with how many people watch it on TV. The reason I believe it is not shown or any of the NZFC games are shown is because of the cost and the grounds.

Its not an NZFC game, it was organised between Waitak and the Nix. Sometimes people on here get caught up a little bit in a yellow fever bubble and forget that we don't infact rule the sporting world
someday soon though.......

Exactly, its not commercially viable. It would have been utterly ridiculous if Sky had forked out to set up a live feed for the game, Radio commentary would have been nice but Radio Sport have been giving updates

Haven't heard from Feverish in a while, either not much happening, or he's lying in a gutter somewhere.
I'll post more info as soon as I get it.

4-0, Plodder from thirty. Somewhat surprisingly, Feverish was getting a beer at the time.

He's looking good and I presume he's not playing in an attacking role and two goals already today, probably be on the bench vs Newcastle.

Feel kind of bad for Plodder, what little time he had on the pitch this season he looked pretty decent.

7-0 final score, scorers according to Feverish Kwasnik 2, Plodder 2, Drapes 2*, Coveny.

* Edward L says that one of Drapes' goals was scored by McKain.

Cheers to Feverish for providing regular updates on the game.

Jeez, if we beat them 8-0 with a 2nd string team what will Adelaide do to them in the World club champs?
