My takeaway is Welnix/Dome are doing all the can to try retain Rudan.

They can't really do much about the family issue, apart from spruik some Wellington schools. That's really a decision for Rudan, his wife & his teenage kids - not an ideal age to change schools, let alone countries.

Also any salary competition is a bit out of their hands, if for example Western Melbourne offered him huge coin.
