Given that he copped two reds last season would that mean that he still has a suspension to see out or is he free to play next week?

You got the answer for us Piney?

He played Rnd 26 last season, his 2nd red was Rnd 16, so I would assume he would be fine to play.

Well.....that is exciting.
If Dura or Siggy get injured or suspended then this kid is half of our central defense.......I will give him the benefit of doubt until I have seem him play but IMO we should NEVER, EVER sign central defenders who have little or no experiance. FFS there must be heaps of older CD's who have had lots of experiance around the globe....nearing the end of their careers, moving down from higher Leagues who would jump at the chance for a short season playing in the sun in the A-League.

and Dura will be out when his new baby arrives not long in to the new season

He was average in an average side over in Perth. Is young so might improve now he's out of that environment but needs to keep his temperament in check.

Damn. He seemed one of our more handy acquisitons too.  I find it amusing how many people freaked out on 442 that we may have signed Joel Griffiths.

We have the makings of a very solid team. I'm really happy to see Ward back (who'd have thought?).

Continuity is a massive factor, often forgotten.

As per my earlier Prediction of All Predictions, I still predict that we are going to have our best season ever.

Always remember.....

We are the Mighty Phoenix. We can beat anyone!!

For the doubters, I recommend you get your Season Passes now before they sell out.

Nostalgia isnt what it used to be...........

Feel sorry for him but can't say I'm surprised.

Ward isn't a great player but he's better than what we currently have, no doubt

Nick Ward scores a good goal once a season. One. Good. Goal.

Welcome back Nicky Ward.

I can't find any evidence that Johnson did anything so embarassing.

Nothing says what he was driving.
