? He has been selfish all season
I think it was a bad thing against GC (at one point he knocked it past someone and tried to chase it deep in our own half and got nowhere near) but it pretty much all came off against CCM

Would love to see him win player of the year, comparatively he has been better than Smeltzy was last year when he won player of the year but I think Hernandez may just edge him out because Melbourne will finish 1 or 2.
Does anyone know how Jonny Warren medal is decided? Is it players/coaches/referees give 1,2,3 points at the end of each game?

Hernandez might be a great technical player but his finishing at times, and more often than not, is whucking woeful. I dont know how many chances ive seen him squander this season. Chances that Ifill wouldve burried.

He went missing last night when the pressure was on as well.
I think he'll win it, but it should be close.
They normally update the voting during the night, so I reckon Smeltz will go out to an early lead then Iffy and Hernandez will fight it out to the end.

I think Ifill deserves it more to be honest. Hernandez has had some great strikes but Ifill offers more overall. Steve-O2010-02-15 12:00:30

It's Ifill for me, last Friday he worked his socks off and just occasionally when CCM looked like they might break out of their shell's PI took it to them and put them on the back foot time and time again. He may be selfish, but it's my kind of selfish..getting involved in the game and wanting to put his foot on the ball to make a difference...which he did.
