If this had been a Perth player doing it to one of our players, he would be getting called every name under the sun so some of you should remove your eye patches before defending him.

He won us a corner... wow. Did he really do anything that Sanchez and Greenacre were not doing already. As I commented in the match thread, he might be able to run fast but he is completely clueless and his track record shows us he contributes nothing. How many times has he come on and scored goals or changed a game???

He is a complete idiot and if he is not smart enough to listen to the advice of his team mate at the the throw before hand, watch the game from the bench and see that the ref was carding players, or even commit this foul in the DEFENSIVE half were he had zero chance of playing the ball then simply release him. If this had happened in the penalty box you'd be calling him the stupidest player we have. He didn't, but it doesn't excuse his complete brain explosion when we are 1 goal up with 2 mins left.

Quite right. Booing your own team is something that has been creeping in to the A League more and more in recent times, especially in Tardtown, Sydney and Brisbane where even a shonky pass or fluffed shot will often draw a chorus of boos. Maybe I'm getting old but this amazes me.

It happened last season when we were playing (admittedly) rather sh!t. Also had loads of supporters leaving early.

It annoys me more than any of our players having moments of numptiness on the pitch.

He was still more effective in 10 mins than others were for way longer. I would start him ahead of Greenacre at the moment (he needs a rest already)....except next week.

And I repeat he isnt the first Nix player to get silly cards (yellow and red)..and sadly wont be the last.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

He's like a blunt instrument trying to budgeon his way toward goal, summed up perfectly by his red card. Was clapped off, but not by me. I wouldn't have bood him because I agree you don't boo your own team, but a dignified silence is probably better and sensds a pretty clear message surely!

He wanted to commit a foul to break up the play, he just did it in such a horrible way. He deserved the red, but up until then I thought he provided some spark we needed.

Agree with this. I was not clapping him off, it was a very stupid thing to do. However I will never boo a Phoenix player ever, no matter what the situation is.

When Pav comes on he seems like Usan Bolt. But in actual fact it just shows how old and slow the rest of our fowards are.

Now if you could combine Pav's pace with Greenacres skill....what a player that would be.

Pav winning me over actually.

1) really hates losing out
2) seems to be learning a thing or two
3) improved fitness
4) did well to create some momentum and keep the ball in the forward 3rd when he came on. Worked well with the rest of the team.

Agree silly card, but could have been just a yellow if he was Harry. Needs Siggie to talk to him about channelling agression and desire. Think his sub appearances have been giving us something more/different up front. Needs to improve his nose for goal, but maybe that is getting one. Hasn't shown much in the air yet.
