Pav actually impressed me over the weekend, he took his chances and proved that he can get in the right place and score a decent goal, that header for his second score was brilliant. If he can carry this on for the rest of the season and Ricki keeps giving him chances then I'll be happy to have him around for a few more years.

That second goal he scored was as much down to Daniels bullet of a corner as it was to Pav. If we had more corners like that this season we'd have scored quite a few more goals. = Oi Leo! No! Let someone else take it!

The low hard corners are easier to defend against if the defenders are willing to attack the ball. Still better than that short crap they seem hellbent on continuing with. And give Pav some credit ffs. One of the biggest complaints was his lack of goals and he has now demonstrated he can score and doesn't panic.

still not impressed by the two goals...unless he has more to offer..let him go

Scoring the occasional goal keep Brown in the starting lineup.. why shouldn't it at least work for Pav?

Two goals against very poor opposition and he is already a star striker?

Brown should go too...

he seems like he is going to be a valuable impact player in the last 20-30mins of a game. against Sydney he did his job being a lone man up front while the rest defended, kept the ball etc. didnt see him against Perth but apparently was playing good apart from the red card. against Jets he played really good. was making runs off the ball, even got back onside when the ball wasnt played first time (1st goal).

Given that he is young and Australian (doesnt take up an import spot), i think he will play an important part is making the playoffs, whether it be scoring goals late in the game, or just coming on and tiring the opposition defense by his off the ball runs
