I should say that I bought my alloted allocation and have happily sold four of them at purchase price to workmates, and given two away to family. Personally, I couldnt feel comfortable trying to make a profit out of the first sold out club football game in NZ history!!!!

since the tickets were handed out so that most people couldn't choose where they sat, wouldn't it be better if those tickets on trademe were bought by someone who usually sits in the zone, but didn't manage to get tickets for some reason?

The bigger concern is the person not telling people the basic tenants of the zone... Standing, swearing, squeezing in.

Yes definitely pleased if a true believer (such as yourself!!!) got them in the end .. but for me, something still grates about seeing someone trying to make money out of the YF moniker.

Our season seats are just out of the FZ (aisle 23) but it gives us huge pleasure to see the activity there every week and it's a tribute to the week in / week out dedication of the YF Believers.

I'm just annoyed that whoever bought these seems to be trying to piggy back on the YF movement and hasn't done (what I think) is the decent thing and moved them for a buy now price (cost, taking into account expenses).

May the plague of Horus fall upon their houses -- but that's just my opinion!

To be fair to the guy he has a start price of what he paid plus $10. Hasn't been on TradeMe long enought to do a Buy Now. If people are prepared to pay too much then that isn't his problem/fault. Might even get him a few beers at our favourite pregame watering hole.

Its no longer a problem.

I've got 6 tickets in the silver area, and if there is anyone with 6 yellow fever zone tickets, but was not aware of the standing / swearing / nakedness / fun that goes on there, i'd be keen to swap :)

No harm in asking!

I blame my wife. She was indecisive on the football family day, and wanted me to wait until the next day. So i did. And now we're in silver. And she's pissed off. yes. SHE'S pissed off...

I bought two ACDC tickets for $130 total off trademe. Worked fine as I jst made sure it was a trademe member with loads of trades who'd registered with trademe and thn had their cell number in case antyhing happened at the gate. Are also about to buy eticket Arts Festival tickets for something

Mods - rather than the PAX thread for the redistribution of spares, perhaps we need a "Nix Tix - Trade & Mart" Thread

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

PAX God Horace has been missing in action the last cpl of days. They have jst put this up on an All Whites article on Stuff   "Organisers have already sold 50,000 tickets and a crowd of up to 75,000 is expected. "

maybe he went to count PAX for them

Hate to bring this thread back on topic, but what exactly is the highest PAX number that was recorded?
With evidence.

PAX IS BACK!

Thanks for bumping Cosimo, page 1 of Wgtn Phoenix threads looked weird without it!

To keep remotely on topic, was in Nix shop before lunch (to get tee shirt) .. quite amazing to see the 'no more tickets' sign on the ticketek machine, fantastic result for club game in NZ. Yay for everyone who has bought.
