It was an ugly, hard fought win but it was exactly what we needed. Great finish from Daniel and I thought Brown made a huge difference today. The way we controlled possession in the 2nd half was suprisingly good - especially the last 20. I closed my eyes for most of the 5 mins of injury time I was so nervous.

Our defence was shocking for about 25 mins but the rest of it was the best defensive display from our boys so far this year. Moss saved their asses on several occasions however so it was still lacking.

Haha @ Moss coming in and whooping at the end of Browns interview. Just feel really happy for them after a tough month or so.

Life is worth living again.  The girlfriend was mystified by the significance of Daniel's strike.  Her young puppy ran for cover by my rendition of "Wellington is Wonderful"...Life is indeed wonderful...

I thought Covs really made a difference when he came on. Old was pretty faultless too. Big props to them. Brownlie injected some energy also.

As for defence it got much better as the game went on and of course when it went bad in 1st half Moss(the f**king ledgend) soughted it out.

Well worth the late night that was. Glen Moss is surely the most in form keeper in the A-League right now, those early saves were gold in a tight match like that. Defence was ok still a little dodgy at times but who cares we won!!!

Tim Brown was fantastic, what a pass to Daniel for the winner too. And to Daniel, a well taken goal me lad!!
