Pheonix Information Night - Monday 14th 7pm
From a non
phoenix club source: I assume it is factual
Re Phoenix, there is an information night at the Petone headquarters of Capital Football on Monday 14th 7pm at which Ricki Herbert and El Tel will present and answer questions
Wonder how many will turn up? Could be a great place for YF to show the support.
Also re media shunning, it will be interesting to see how they cover it

From a Wellington Club newletter that I got his morning. I'm not in
Wellington now, but it was my old club
I thought it was an information evening to discuss Capital
Footballs draft strategiic plan, at least thats what it said in the
email I was sent about a week ago. It didnt say anything about the
Phoenix.
A dog with a bone :)
There have been two meetings at Capital Football recently - one to
discuss the Capital Football Strategic Plan and then the Phoenix
information evening last night, which was advertised through the
clubs.
There was a good crowd there - around 60 people, which is a full meeting room - and both Terry and Ricki spoke at length about their plans for the Phoenix. They also answered a whole range of questions and were pretty open and honest with their answers. The main thing that came through was how keen they are to be involved with the clubs and the local football community, which is great and about as far as you can possibly get from the NZ Knights.
On the subject of the clubs BNU has organised for the FA Cup Final to be shown at the Cambridge Hotel on Saturday night. Doors open at 11pm, all are welcome and lots of cheap food and drink available. Finding somewhere to watch the FA Cup Final is tricky in Wellington so worth getting down there.

Anyone from yellow fever at this information night?
nah had training. Capital Soccer told us about it, but rather than
for the Phoenix supporters, it was for those involved in local
clubs.

Quite an interesting evening, had folk inviting the Phoenix down to
their local club for pre season friendlies!
We were told to expect 3 new signings this week though.
