shoulder areas. The official kit announced on 27 April
07 had thin white stripes going from neck to under the arm.
The pictures of the shirts that Ryos are offering, are
different. Anyone know the reason for this. April 07 version
is the official version and Ryos version a
"knockoff"?????????????? Would look better if the whie was
converted to yellow.

these are the official shirts released by reebok. AND NO
WE ARE NOT KNOCKING THEM OFF Dont start causing sh*t when you
dont know the facts kiwihatter.
These are exactly the same shirts that the phoenix will be
selling as well

Hey keep your hair on Ryos! I was only asking why the
difference???? There was no attempt on my part to cause "sh*t" as
you put it. All I wanted was information . I put my hand up
and admit that "knockoff" was perhaps not the best word to use, but
you need to calm down and not be so overly sensitive. If
you look on The Soccer NZ website, the official strip announced on
27 April 07 is different from the shirts shown in your picture
posted on this website. As a consumer who will be buying replica
shirts for my family as well as myself, I have every right to
ask questions. If you have a problem with that perhaps you
shouldn't be in retailing.
I have been directing football enthusiasts at my work, to Ryos
for the generic Wellington scarf and beanies. From tomorrow I
will be redirecting them to the Phoenix store. I work in a
large organisation with 800 employees with quite a few football
enthusiasts. You can be sure that after your outburst at my
innocent questions that I won't be praising Ryos or directing
them to Ryos anymore. We were also going to come into Welly
this avo and pick up shirts for the family. So you just
talked yourself out of $468!!! I'd rather go into a solely
Football store where my patronage will be appreciated and help the
club at the same time.

No slander was intended and if you have taken offence then I'm
sorry for that. I have been a big supporter of Ryos and I do
realise that you wouldn't be selling unlicensed stuff. All I
wanted was clarification because I thought it was odd that there
was a difference in the strip announced in April and the pics of
the merchandise on this site. I'm actually the last person
who would want to hurt anybody's reputation and I'm rather taken
aback that you have misinterpreted my questions. Having
said that, I will still be taking my patronage elsewhere, as is my
right to do. I'm a bit saddened by your overreaction Ryos I
really am.

What I meant to say in my original post was, that the official
strip on NZ Soccer website had one picture, and the merchandise in
the Ryos store posting was different. What was the reason for
this? I fully realise that RYOS would not be selling unlicensed
product. "Knockoff" was totally the wrong expression to
use. I should have used "official strip lookalike' or words
to that effect. Looks like Reebok has been tinkering in the
last few months and put more white in. Lets hope for more
yellow in A League version 4! Maybe the Black and Yellow stripes
that a few of us have hinted at.
While I might not be racing down there to Ryos, there is
nothing to stop all you guys and gals from hotfooting it down there
quicksmart, with your readies or plastic!!!!!!I will be sending my
workmates too!!!!!
SO PLEASE RUSH INTO RYOS AND GRAB THOSE SHIRTS
NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $117 with your fever card is a jolly good
deal. Go and clean out their stock!!!!!

I would have preferred our jerseys to be gold or gold & black
stripes like the club logo. Black reminds me of every other NEW
ZEALAND team including the kings, the knights, the warriors!. This
is a Wellington team. Black predominantly looks crap. I am very
disappointed. $130 is rich too!$60.00 for a black top would be
fairer.
