I think Terry needs to attack down the wings from the outset (use his pace out wide to get in behind the IRD's defence).

Just wonder who will be on the bench (Ali hopefully as a an impact player)?

C'mon Terry. A full 90 mins please - no easing off in the second half - we want to be sure of a result.

Terry's M.O. has always been to not hand-over a cent until he absolutely has to. And even then he'll hand over the bare minimum he can get away with.

Based on the Judge's comments last time I doubt the court will give him another extension. More likely is that Terry has scraped together enough cash in the meantime (and a plan for the rest) to get the IRD to withdraw the liquidation proceedings themselves.

Then we can stagger along like this for a few months more. Yippee!

I have to say that we cannot afford to go through this again. For the game and the club to grow move forward we cannot have its image tarnished like this repeatedly. As much as I love Terry and his commitment to the club, I would hate to see the endless money pitt that is the nix destroy him financially. I would rather see him sell to someone who has the cash (not assets) to afford it long term.

It is not the Nix that is destroying Terry. Lets be clear about that. It is the property market and the recession. You dont need to try and borrow as much as he is to keep the Nix going

It is his other dealings that are dragging him and the club under. If he let the Nix just go, it wouldnt change a thing to his financial position

Personally, I hope it's all over on Monday - can't pay - wind up the club and start again with new owners [I'm confident one will be found]. Pays up and there is no uncertainty going forward - great start recruiting for next season.

If this this remains in the air, we won't be able to recruit quality and may as well be wound up anyway.

There is no real rush for recruiting though at this stage. The only recruiting at the moment is of inter-A-league movements, and I am not convinced there is any talent that will improve our side on the A-league free transfer list. Then of course the European season is still going, and realistically most if not all of our European targets will be free agents at seasons end. European contracts end 30 June and apart from a few most will hold out until close to that date in order to stay in Europe or will at least field offers from around Europe, meaning a lot may not look into any overseas offers (us) until into July. With the season starting in October, I assume pre-season will start late July, there is little difference between signing players now and at the start of pre-season. So really, while we should be looking at players of course I would not be at all concerned if there were no new signings in the next two months.
