Who are we kidding? We love to have a go, but I reckon compared to many of the other football fans forums we are pretty tame and I'd imagine some of that is the threat of banstick and some of that is the fact that we mostly behave ourselves.
If you go to the Sydney forums when the club are going through one of their periodic meltdowns some fo the comments about staff and players are vile. We don't get close to that.

Re-reading this thread, a few folk need to understand the definition of scapegoat. Oh hang on, I have it right here ....

It's not the shittest player. Far from it.
And it's not about forum members, particularly those in the Isle of 21, arguing over who to have an irrational hostility towards (then it wouldn't be irrational).
Although I do note that Yom Kippur falls on 3/4 October this year, just as the new season starts. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Not sure the dislike of the previous scapegoats has exactly been irrational...

I've never understood so called "fans" who target someone and yell abuse every time they make an error or make a stray pass. On Saturday, it was some young guy just across from me doing this to Brockie.
I think i know who that was - He took it waay too far. I'm not a fan of brockie but he just went over the top.

Think it's overly violent and those 3/4 low angle shots, (the camera is always placed around half a meter of the floor), sort of wear on the eyes after awhile but yeah very different and pleased that an English drama is taking it to the Americans.
