It could have clips of press conferences, interviews, the Becks extravaganza and of course lots of Smeltz goals!
And things from the fan side, like some chanting, away trips, etc.
If the club doesn't want to issue it, then Yellow Fever could compile an unofficial one.
It could be put on YouTube if a DVD is thought to be too expensive.
Note that YouTube has a 10 minute limit for clips.
Perhaps we could do one of on-field action, and a second of off-field stuff.
I might have some time to edit something, but I wouldn't want to do it all myself.

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
Wow, nice post.
I suppose the general consensus to your last question would be that I'm a little bit of both.
To answer your point about the length of the highlights package; we scored 25 goals in the season, if we give 20 seconds to each goal thatll give us just over 8 minutes. You do say plenty of awesome moments, I can visualize how the two goals and the first win would look on the reel, Im struggling to see how wed see the etc etc bit?
We played 21 games lost 11 and drew 5, conceded 37 goals and came bottom of the league, a season like that hardly screams HIGHLIGHTS video to me.
IMO the first season was a huge success but match day highlights were few and far between.
Notice that Ive disagreed with you without feeling the need to insult you personally

Ok so I may have misread the last bit of your post - whoops. somehow disagree turned into disgraced when I read it - doh!

totally, i bet they had highlights reels after every game too! Most clubs do. I'd suggest after the first season - which has turned out to be a huge success and created the interest in footy as this current season has, I'm sure a small highlights package can be put together. Just because a team didn't finish first doesn't mean they can't relive the achievements through the season - does it?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'm not concerned with what it's called - season review or highlights package - I'd just be happy to see one.loyalgunner2008-02-19 16:03:22
To be honest, I don't give a toss either way. Look back to the start of the post, I made a "rose tinted glasses" quip and got called an arsehole for it.
It amazes me how something so small generates such traffic. What the hell this has to do with the team I support in the UK I have no idea, and the fact that someone has suggested a poll to see who is right and who is wrong is laughable. I've quoted Cosimo before and I'll do it again:
"Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics......."
Guys, if posting a 10 minute highlights reel on the web is your bag, just go do it, you don't need permission or acceptance.

As an aside it is becoming annoying the way some have to resort to insults if you dont agree with what someone else has posted, does seem that some lack any sense of humour.A bit of good natured banter is good but it seems some people dont know the difference between that and insults.

The first half of the clip however just contained the Galaxy players getting into fights.
They must think that being aggro is more marketable than actually being able to play
