Hi guys, I'm considering ordering a new Phoenix shirt from the website/ over the phone. I have both last seasons hone and away in large, they pretty much fit perfectly, little loose but not too baggy. Do you think I will still be a Large? or should I go for a medium?

Thoughts from those who own one of each appreciated.

I forgot to add that I have heard the sizes are a little different from last year.

Will come back to you with prices.

Will this service be available at all times or just tomorrow night?

Just tomorrow night

This seems a bit silly and short sighted to be completly honest.
You've got members who live out of town who you claim to value but can't get a shirt personalised when they next visit Wellington to support the team (of which I am already booked in for another four games) I missed this service because you couldn't have the store open in time for the first home game and I still don't have any new season Phoenix gear because I am waiting for my next trip so I can give the Phoenix as much of the pie as possible.

It's a shame my support is going a touch unrewarded in this case.

Never mind the fact that those who live in wellington but have to wait for funds to free up will miss out as well.

What I meant is that we will have the numbers/names done on the spot tomorrow but the option to do that will be available anytime. We will send the shirts away to get it done for you. We have the official A League names and numbers. So in short if you can't make it tonight or live out of town you can still get it done. Hope that clears it up

Cheers Tony, thanks for clearing that up despite my poor tone. (like I said in one of my other posts, although my opinion was expressed rather poorly, the passion stems from a love of the Phoenix)

I look forward to getting my hands on one(and more trips south to cheer the boys on)

Can't make it tonight. Some one take some picture would be good. Be their bright and early tomorrow to get my shirt. Just after buying 8 tickets to the WQC. Going to be an expensive day.

Pulled in briefly, seemed to be lots of people taking advantage of the printing so that's a good sign.

Shop is looking good.

You work there? I was in the store for all of a minute...was just on my way home from work and wanted to check out what it looked like. Happy to introduce myself next time, although I have no idea who you are.

Stefan wasn't in the White pants tonight. Simon did that cost you $55 to get it all done? I don't think the players were impressed with the pricing of the said number and lettering. Store looks very good, great turnout of familiar and plenty of new faces.

One kid about 5 was damn quick and had everyones autographs except Durante who had left after 45 mins, the rest of the players stayed on for ages. That  kid was so proud of his achievement. Plenty of kids in the new top which in large groups looks excellent.

In the end I bought one of those grey fleece lined hoodies, they're mint and warm.

Was a great turn out at the shop tonight. We got there early, so I was first in the door when it opened.

The new shop looks fantastic, I think the layout works better than the last store.

I got myself one of the new grey Wellington Phoenix t-shirts, signed by all the players in attendance, even Jiang Chen was there to sign things :)

Props to Terry, Tony P and all the other staff!Ard Righ2009-08-20 21:31:59

Yeah, it did, but the voucher softened the price.

Do members still get the 10% discount Tony? Maybe it was just Granville being a a muppet and not realising everyone in there was a member.

That's a good plan! But crikey -the store only had two small sizes left.  They were cleaned out last night.

Will pop in tonight as they should get some more this afternoon, otherwise Sat afternoon.

They are the ones that just have "PHOENIX" written across the front.

$110 is pretty steep for a hoodie I must say.

No membership sadly, so no discount.

I do have the Entertainment book voucher though.
