yeah first thing I do whenever we confirm a new signing is rush to FM and find out how decent their stats are and McKain's do look excellent. Bit of a worry that Elrich and George were the best players in our team stats wise last season though :(

well Kevin Phillips just signed a new deal at West Brom so that�s not going to happen. Andy COle was arrested for domestic violence, and based on past dealings with players I can�t see the Phoenix signing him now...plus he�s bloody old!

No Cole no Phillips for the Phoenix. We did speak to Phillips management but thats where we left it.

Joel Porter was class in the NSL (but so was elrich). I think he will be a good addition though. Dont 4get about Covs lads hes still an awesome player! Am still anticipating the release of Brownlie, Old and Aloisi though..More like hoping. Maybe the fact they will have to pay out old and brownlies contract if they leave is whats stopping them.

Not sure if its been mentioned in this thread but I'd like to see Nikita Rukavytsya signed to partner Smeltz up front. There has been a little bit of transfer speculation about him leaving Perth and I was impressed with him when he scored 6 goals in four matches.
He is only 20 and looked hungry and has a class finish on him, possibly fades out of matches at times......Anyone else rate him?

I agree. He had some unbelievable pace and would be a great signing. Would feel sorry for Perth though, if we took him as well as Leo!
