apparently Robbie Kruse prob wont be wanted by raw at end of the season. Get him in. Get Michael Bridges in too.

No.

And I hope we don't sign him. He is overated and obviously petulant. (though I guess we can't exactly be picky.)

over-rated by who? his club wont even play him. If we are ruling out petulent footballers then we might as well write-off half of all players.

By the media? Though obviously that has died down this season because he hasn't been playing. Why hasn't he been playing? Because he's been going out and getting trashed every weekend. Not a player we want. He isn't good enough to put up with those off field problems. The fact that Farina hasn't given him a chance this season speaks volumes.

I thought Mrdja played well in his last game. Still has injury problems though obviously and if he comes good he would probably like to repay CCM so he most likely wouldn't leave.

Kruse is a 19yo who's life and game folded because his teenage girlfriend left him.  God forbid something genuinely bad happens in his life.  No chance... oh and if you see through the media hype he's not worthy of polishing Super Leo's boots.

Mrdja may not be able to be at the same club as Durante... there is some history there.

did kruses gf actually leave him and he fell apart, just thought you were taking the piss

That is pretty much the understood version of things... trouble in bars and all sorts since (maybe he wants a deal from the Broncos).

Personally I thought he was grossly over-rated last year before that anyway.

what happened between dura and mrdja?

V1 Pre-Season Cup.  Dura was at Sydney but got his leg broken in an ugly incident by Mrdja.  Never played for Sydney again.

Another idea, whatever happened to Jeremy Brockie. I know he's playing for Team Wellington at the moment but he was probably one of the best investments the woeful Knights ever made, and they let him die off in Sydney. I saw him score a screaming header once for Nelson against beloved Halswell.

Dadi or Petrovski come with current form. Aloisi has reputation, and some pride to repair. I haven't seen anything from Mrdja that Royce Brownlie didn't have.

I would be happy with Dadi if he played as well as he has done this year, and we had two other proven strikers, with one extremely promising up and comer who will prove their potential.

I suspect if we play the same formation as this season Alosi would shine as the single striker doubt the Nix would take the risk but I would love to see him to come, with a pay cut.

kruse is one of the worst players to ever play in the league. He has very little skill, limited pace, and absolutely no strength.

Rubbish player.

I'd be very happy with Dadi. That might be possible.

As to finding two proven strikers backed up by a promising up-and-comer... good luck, mate.

Seriously, ask the question: Apart from Smeltzy, name one other even halfway-decent out-and-out striker the Nix have fielded in the almost two seasons they've held the licence?

Dadi didn't even make the Perth Squad last week... and by this time next season will be 36.  Plus, if we sign him, at the end of next season we're in a blind panic looking for another striker.

No thanks.

Over reaction.....

Ahmed El**ch.... Mario Jardel.....? I'd take Robbie Kruse over those two. Better to be a wanna be than a has been....

El**ch in the NSL was 1000 times the player Robbie Kruse was in the two games where he was as good as the Australian media told us.

+1

He has talent but would be a backward move on the strikers front.

To be fair Dadi shouldn't of been left out and that contributed to Perth losing. In all likelihood he got left out because of contract talks.

Also, El**ch was better than Kruse.

I would take him. IMO he has more skill than Cassio.  He's not really a striker, though.

I thought he was a striker? Often played wide though.

I heard a rumour that Deano (also know as Dean Windass) was on the radar. Those who know him know how good he is.

Its no longer a problem.

Both ex aberdeen, therefore both class.

Windass contrived to be shown three red cards - once for foul play (having previously been booked); another for verbally abusing the referee; and a third for taking out his frustration on a corner flag as he left the field - for which he received a six match ban

Windass helped Hull get promoted last year... but from memory he's pushing, if not over forty? Correct me if I'm woefully wrong please Tigers.

He does have an 'ilarious name though.

I'm sure he turned out for Hull in EPL last week as a sub.

He actually started a match recently. I think it was the one they got hammered 5-1 by Man City. A lesson there maybe.

Rumor has it that Coveny will return to Melbourne at the end of the season to either play in the VPL or take up a coaching role there.

Could be tricky getting him here. Aren't there regulations which stop you flying once you get past a certain age?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
