What a fantastic debut by Dadi,Manny Muscat was class defensive midfield player and we are looking a big threat now as Liam Reddy, is a class custodian. What was the official attendance?

Watching the replay.  Browns goal really wasn't the most convincing of headers eh?
Official attendance was 8,925.

I think he thought Dadi had it, and then had to react quickly. Does look quite funny and what was his celebration about? lol

lol at one news comment on Dadi: "have the Phoenix unearthed a new star?".  Umm, yeah. That was Dadi's first ever match right?  He's what, 17, just turned 18 maybe?

We had a few in aisle 22 too - not regulars tho' - and pi**ed from the minute they stumbled in.

That was quite possibly us - First game, got caught up in the excitement a bit

Don't worry, we'll be back this week - We've booked aisle 23 this time

Ugh. Im sick of TV1, there football news coverage is pathetic. They only showed two of the 5 goals in the ACFC vs. Mazembe game in the UAE, i always leave comments on their website criticising them. Andrew Gourdie is whats keeping 3news my news of choice.

True but to be fair to TV1 last night, the cycling was the national champs and did include world ranked riders so did deserve to go ahead of the football, although the tennis should have been behind both.

I think I'll be a bit more sober this time around.

I must give 'props' where due, though.

The YellowFever seating really adds to the atmosphere at the stadium and made our first outing to the Nix a fantastic experience.

Keep it up.

Who would have thought we would need to tone down the language and boozing to go to a football match

Four Nix players make the SBS team of the week; Reddy,  Lochhead, Brown and Dadi.

You have to love / laugh;

"Tim Brown, Wellington Phoenix

One of three nix players in the TOTW, Brown got a goal and was probably unlucky not to have a couple more. The speedster dined out on a Roar defence that seemed lost without Craig Moore."

I bet that's the first time Brown has been described in the press as a speedster.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Ive found the best way to combat drunk football fans is to get drunk yourself, then its not a problem anymore.

Further rubbing salt into the wounds of Perth haha. The general consensus over at 442 is that Dave Mitchell should be a gone burger.

Fine in the fever zone.  And fine to the extent that it helps lubricate the voice box.

If you can keep it there I have no problem.

ah!!! don't you love reading the angst of other team supporters!!!!

Especially when your own team is on fire....playing well, back to back wins. Life for a Nix supporter does not get much better than this.....bring on the Fury!!!!
