Phoenix v Noocastle at 4 Kings

Yeah I'm often on that site looking at Altrincham results and it's always funny when a phoenix result is on there :D

I'm having the same issue when I check North American sporting news, especially as before this year my main interest was ice hockey. Had to caution a mate of mine from LA yesterday about not getting too used to cheering against sports teams named Phoenix - unless they were from Arizona :P

...which is only two (the Coyotes and the Suns) because every other team uses the name Arizona.

If its any consolation I put money on the draw too....im sure that munter Breeze has screwed the Nix over this season....can't remember when though.

I think we had him for that Sydney game when we won.

He gave Daniel a yellow card for kicking the ball out.

just reading  about a fire in Courtenay Place (Saatchi Building) and parts of the area are blocked off - is this affecting tonight's venue?

Im sure these aussie commentators are  at least  meant to try and sound neutral ,they sounded as if they were going to top them selfs towards the end of the game,ah well great stuff!!

Sigh of relief from me, but a confident performance from the Phoenix.

Had to get txt reports for the whole game from Bill (Fever Lounge)  and Sue (Eastbourne pub). Ended up turning a Takapuna restaurant into a mini YF zone even if only for a minute or so..

Good man! Me and HarryPeters ended up attracting a few pubgoers into watching the match with us.
PS While you're in Takapuna, pop in at The Copper Room, they're a great bunch. Went out of their way to help me watch our away match against Perth when I was up there

great game - thanks to 4K for the drinks, nibbles and comfy seats 

Didn't look like a top four performance to me but then we didn't play well (apart from about two minutes of it) and won so I guess that is what getting in the top four is about. Joel Griffiths might have had a field day so just as well he didn't play. However, makes up for the ones where we did play well and lost. 

Yep it was a great night for me all round, Big Matt puts on drinks and food for us, the Nix had an awesome win (although freakin nailbiting), awesome atmosphere created by the fever, then barts and I picked the score, gotta love 35-1

Thanks again Matt, I'll be back for the next away game, we'll put some bets on the game before it starts!
