Enjoyed the buskers in the square this morning.
Watched a guy with a kind of ice hockey goalies mask on with a giant spike attatched to the top of it , he  proceeded to catch  oranges that people in the crowd threw up in the air , very bizzare took my mind of my empty wallet and  stinginging hangover though!!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Anywho. The Chelsea game got a decent report due to the John Terry scandal.. which never really even mentioned the whole Wayne Bridge gf in the story. The news reader talked about JT then the story was just about the game? Surely the Phoeni should get a longer story than Chelsea vs Burnley!

That was Judd and I being "interviewed" for the radio station.  He did indeed bring up dead prostitutes (I think he had the chant stuck in his head)  She asked me a question too but I can't for life of me remember what it was......

What she wanted was someone to start a chant after she'd had a bit of a chat live on the radio and we seemed likely contenders.  She was thinking of RH Yellow Army but we thought Wellington should be mentioned hence the Oh Wellington in the middle of half time.  Well done everyone kicking in though - good job! :)
 
My sincerest apologies. The mic was rammed in my face and I had Mr Wilson's chant in my head as i had just finished explaining to brother in law was was being said. For the record i did not say 'dead' prostitutes i just said "I love the weather, beer, women and prostitutes" when asked how does being in CHC compare to WLG.

Still feeling arsey after a 6am finish. I blame the mob run Russian vodka bar. Great night though, pulled through with the result- crowd was definitely there- and I will even go as far as to say that the last 10 minutes were November-14esque. Wonderful trip, would certainly make the roady if/when it happens again.

Yeah, after a couple of shots of vodka at that place the warning signs came on and we moved on. A few more of those would have made the next morning fun - not!

just got back to glorious upper hutt after 4 days of rampant drinking in CHCH.

Thanks to the macs bar and all the YF there that made us feel welcome . . . have not managed to get to the backbencher or 4kings this season so it was a good first experience being with so many fellow fans. may have to make the effort to get out for our (hopefully not) last home game of the season.

Congrats to the Phoenix for defending a one goal lead for the most part of game, how many draws have we had in similar circumstances? Lets be possitive yeah?

Mate of mine got asked for ID at the stadium by a pre-pubescent jobsworth.  My mate is 39 and hadn't shaved for three days!!  When he remonstrated was just told he should take it as a compliment.

Reminds me of the time i got asked for ID to purchase coke at Eden Park during some one dayer a few years ago.
