Keen to check out the Phoenix store.  Haven't been for nearly 3 years.

Now to find out where Hunter St is.

Station turn right out the front doors, then left once you hit the road, along Featherston st, at the end turn left...Hunter Street.

...or station, turn left, on to the Quays, turn right, keep walking until you get to the ASB building.  It's in there.

Long time forum reader, infrequent poster here.

Have followed and supported the Nix since day 1 and its been great to follow their progress - especially having endured the Knights debarcile, and well at least the Kingz had Rufer which gave us something to watch!

Me and a mate are flying down Sunday AM to Wellington from Auckland to attend this game - can't wait!!!  It'll be my 2nd Nix game ever, I think I went to one a couple of years back in a 2-2 draw with Ah-deh-laydie City Force.  But this one is going to be awesome, top work by you Wellingtonians and fellow Nix supporters!

I reckon we'll take it in normal time!  See you all down at the BB/4K/Concourse/Zone :D!

And Phil @ Ryos is a top bloke for saving me a Timmy Brown T Shirt - will have my trusty Retro Ricki on for the day though of course!

Cheers, Davy.

Just back from the stadium. The pitch is being marked out, now, and looks good.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

How are they covering it for the Beer Festival? I hear they are expecting quite a few punters for that

I presume the Beer Festival is just in the concourse so the field won't be effected. I could be wrong though.

Yes I was wondering about about that. There is music, so maybe part of the ptich is being used. What about glass?
I'm half inclined to get myself a ticket just to guard the pitch!

I know, I know, its serious!

I had to go my doctors today with a sore foot. Low and behold the reception area in the doctors was decked in a phoenix scarf and the lady behind the reception desk had her yellowfever shirt on...on closer observation all the people at the surgery had items of yellow clothing on...who'd have though the football would have this effect on people   good on yer' Tawa Medical Centre.............Go the Nix
