Even the commentry on fox sport  australia are cracking up at Crowther and when he came out of the box. and how we tried to escape the wind from the ROF and ended up with 140ks up the road to palmy where its worse!

Wow, joined the game late but thought I was watching NZFC. Conditions making it awful to watch.

Nix are playing like an NZFC team too

Couldn't see him on telly but, as there was big delay before he blew for the pen, I'm wondering how much the lino might have had to do with it.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I'd rather us of played like that when we had the winds at our backs (and gone for heaps of long shots) rather than going into the wind. Going into the wind is actually a bit easier when going forward imo because you can hoof the ball up and you know it will hold up for your strikers.

I used to tell my boy to always play with the wind first because if you played into it first, you always smacked it one and couldn't rein it back in in the 2nd half and always over hit it.

The slow mo replay just showed McKain taking his legs.... It really is hard to argue.

Any ref or lino with reasonable eyesight and a tenuous grasp of the laws of the game should have penalised Brosque immediatly for hauling on McKain's jersey before they got anywhere near the box.

Greenacre didn't play last week.

Haven't seen that replay. Just thought at the time it was 50/50, but as soon as Brosque got goal side of him it had nightmare written all over it. Only good thing is that he didn't get a red card for it.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

If a defender is shepherded by an offside player surely that counts as 'active'.  Great save by Crowther nevertheless.
