Siggie says Bertos up front with Smeltz on the radiosport interview.

To be brutally honest - my gravest concern is around some of the facial hair likely to be displayed at Four Kings this evening

With his goal scoring prowess, after his wonderful shot vs the clogs?

Glad to hear it's not Cov's but do you not feel Bertos would be wasted there?  He is such a creative player he would be best left in midfield.

Would rather see, Daniel, Hearfield or Costa up front

He played there (it was more in the hole) for the AWs. Did okay.

I assume he'll drop a bit deeper and leave Goldy up front all alone. Maybe back to a 4-2-3-1, but without saying it...

Bertos was our best player against Perth so we are changing his position? Makes no sense.

Gao is a lazy prick but I do think that he is a loss. He is a player that can come out of nowhere and spark the attack (after doing nothing for most of the game of course). I don't really see any other players in our team apart from Bertos who can do that.

Haha. Everyone on this forum is like that I think.

I just want to see them knock it around midfield better. I can't stand watching us f**k around in midfield, pass it back and then long ball it up field.

KO is at 10pm (8pm Sydney).

Maybe Super Leo has been practicing his 1v1 shooting and is up front to terrorise opposition defenders like Ruykavitsa (or w/e) last week.  He's not afraid to shoot at least, he's gotta score someday.

Have an old mate over here who I haven't seen in 10 years (I used to live/work with him in Austria) and he's a Bling FC fan coming along tonight, but he said we aren't exactly a drawcard for his fickle bunch of fans.....and expects around 7-8k fans......lame!!

Its been a nice hot day over here, as was yesterday, I saw Tony P on the plane over and think he liked the sound of it when I mentioned there should be 40-50 of us here....been a tough week for that man, but he's a top man all the same!!!

The old Cross asked me why its been so long betweeen drinks when I re-aquianted myself with several of its establishments last night.....and I fell in love with Lola.....aaaahhhh Lola!!

C'mon Phoenix, Fever on Tour.....heading to the Fox n Lion now to meet Fitz and Barts, Cosmo and Feverette and get on it.....

I'm in a town full of convicts....a tooown fill of convicts!!!!

I'm coming home in a Qantas aeroplane......

We have had the wood on Sydney.....will I jinx it if I say they are our bunny team?

Trouble is there is no way we will catch them cold this time. Kosmina was farting sparks after last weeks 3-0 up and drawing 3-3. He will have them reved up for sure. We will just have to hang in there and weather the storm and hope it is still close enought to nick a point.

Now that the air has cleared over Smeltz's departure I hope they play a blinder(possible)....then again they could get a spanking(also possible).

The preview says it will be on ZB in Wellington but after last week I would be doubtful of that.

oh dear its very sad. look lets not get too excited about players who "try hard"  we want some QUALITY. hearfield is in the same barrier as a lot of players just "work hard" and see what happens. can we get some actual quality?

but who else do you start? Daniel up front with Smeltz ,but lying deep like Rooney likes to do? Daniel is a a player who has the passes and vision and can make things happen Hearfield would just run and work hard like a rugby player....this ain't rugby. its the beautiful game!

i know i expect way too much but I would rather see  Quality than Headless Chickens.

Have high hopes for Bertos as the striker.  Couldn't finish a sandwich in front of goal, but has pace and that could be the difference.

Personally i'd like to see christie get a run in midfield ( obviously not happening this week though). He never got a chance to play there for us and hasn't looked bad there for the aws. With the amount of chances we've been creating we can't do any worse so why not?
