There will be no reason for Adelaide to not go for broke against CCM on Sunday after the Friday and Saturday results. If Queensland beats Perth by 2 or more at home (as they are expected to), it means Adelaide will have to win to claim the minor premiership.
Melbourne of course will want to spank us to get themselves in the hunt.
Melbourne weren't great against CCM and were lucky to win 3-0. We're gonna have to show a lot more than we have in away games (we've lost our past three away).
If we can't win, I'd still rather have a draw and mean that we WILL finish 5th and most likely cost those Tards the automatic ACL berth.
So please, Australia is relying on you to beat Melbourne.
Thanks, on behalf of Australia excluding Melbourne.
Also, if you beat the tards, we will repay you by beating CCM. Wellington is my 2nd favorite A-League team.
So i hope you do well in the finals, but i would rather beat Melbourne in the grand final than Wellington. Thanks.

It was seriously stupid

Good luck to your lads next week - I don't want Queensland to win the Premiership, and next week's fixture means I don't want Melbourne to win either!
No I think this is the stupidest post. No McKain...... What?
Kad have you actually made any intelligent posts in the 23 you have made since you joined?

Back on track - he's not that stupid!
Is he?
Brown has done us a disservice by getting the cards, so McKain will have to play like he did yesterday.
Daniel's only got 45 minutes in him so I'll be interested if it's at the start or end. I'm picking the end. Costa to get another crack.
He may be fat, but can he play? Any Nix player played at the standard he has.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Worried there big guy?

Yes, he'll be suspended next week, but we'll have Brown back who can do the same and then for the game after that we'll have McKain back again (and it keeps going like that).

I think you've run out of games LG
smae team with Plodder in for Brown, suits me......we can play 4 - 4 - 2 and attack get an early lead and secure it with another goal in the 46th

Don't mean to rehash old ground but losing Brown is a crucial blow. He was definitely the player we needed against a side like Melbourne. just because some dickhead referee screwd up we losea vital player(the first yellow was no contact therefore no yellow)

That was a late and dangerous tackle - imo, the referees are well within their rights to discourage that sort of play, even if no contact is made. A more experienced ref may have just told Brown to calm it down rather than issuing a yellow, but that's a moot point. Once on a yellow, Brown should have known better.

Agree first challenge was reckless and having got the first yellow he was always going to be gone for the second foul and was just plain dumb if he thought different.
