Faaark.... Probably not very objective, but who cares...

Mossy 5 His worst performance of the season
Fenton 4 Did improve, but was worse than not having a right back for quite a while
Siggy 7 Good as usual
Dura 6 Not much influence
Caira 4.5 Is he a defender??
Lia 5.5 Some bad moments giving ball away, but was getting little support
Reira 5 Too light weight
Ifill 7 Was hungry, hope he's not injured
Stein 6 Lovely goal
Kenny 4 I can't think of anything much useful he contributed
Brockie 6 Nice assist, seemed to disappear late in the game
Hicks 4.5 Can pass the ball, but that's all
Ridenton Didn't see him touch the ball, but I may be mistaken
Leo 4 Looked slow and off the pace

Oh dear, we were looking good for a while

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Brockie play with injury and work his socks off, Ifill looked like 25 years old not 34!!!

Norwich City supporter since 1992, New Zealand supporter since 2010 but without Rory Fallon's winning goal against Bahrain, I won't know about New Zealand Football.

Poor old Mossy. No one is ever going to remember those two world class saves that kept us in the game.

On Cunningham: you look at him and you look at Sidnei and it's obvious which club got the better bargain.

Just what I was thinking. Up until that fourth goal, he was very safe, and like you said, had two great saves too.
Such is the nature of goalkeeping though.

Faaark.... Probably not very objective, but who cares...

Mossy 5 His worst performance of the season/6 two good saves, one blooper at the end when his mind was probably on releasing it as quickly as possible to get it forward again.

Fenton 4 Did improve, but was worse than not having a right back for quite a while/3 Perth enjoyed his passing out of D, a lot of very poor decisions and turnovers all game.
Siggy 7 Good as usual/fair enough
Dura 6 Not much influence/fair enough
Caira 4.5 Is he a defender??/dunno, not sure I watched him closely enough, no obvious bloopers, no significant contribution, but they got in behind him a bit too often.
Lia 5.5 Some bad moments giving ball away, but was getting little support/6.5 one poor turnover otherwise solid effort [Edit: may be being generous with that - and thought he stayed too high when Riera went off and perhaps earlier when Riera needed more help]
Reira 5 Too light weight/6.5 we went to bits after he came off, but he was starting to skate on thin ice [- not sure if he was just asked to do too much with little help or wasn't up to it.  Kenny not much of an outlet, nor Caira, and as I said, Lia pretty high]
Ifill 7 Was hungry, hope he's not injured/yep
Stein 6 Lovely goal/7.5 held the ball up well, high work-rate, good goal, filled Carlos' shoes better then Carlos in the last couple of games.  Got in place for another couple of shots and distributed pretty well
Kenny 4 I can't think of anything much useful he contributed/3 zero positive contribution, gave away the dumb foul to give them the catch-up goal, momentum and confidence.  More and more another import failure for us.
Brockie 6 Nice assist, seemed to disappear late in the game/6.5 some nice stuff, prob not his fault our mids pased the ball away much of the 2nd half.  Good assist for Stein's.
Hicks 4.5 Can pass the ball, but that's all/ 4 a lot of poor choices, ineffective shots and turnovers, impatient
Ridenton Didn't see him touch the ball, but I may be mistaken/ 4 was part of the falling apart.  Not at all sure what he was sent on to do.
Leo 4 Looked slow and off the pace/ your comment re Ridenton

Oh dear, we were looking good for a while/

comments after the  /.  I thought they played at around 6.5 and we were worse overall, though we had our patch when we looked like we were going to easily roll over the top.

I thought we totally lost shape with Ifill and Riera off. No-one seemed to drop back to the deep mid role and the combination of the kids coming on without experienced support behind was poor combinations, poor decision making, naeivity and a lot of midfield turnovers. I think Lia stayed high and the lack of an effective screen exposed the back four.  Not sure if Ridenton was supposed to do that job, but if so; not.

We were looking good for a while but the subs turned it to a mess.  Riera was going to get himself sent off, and it was probably too risky keeping Paul on so can't blame Ernie I suppose.  Bummer.  Beaten by a poorish team who had six out.  [Why Lia did not drop deep with Riera off I don't know.]

Lia? are ytou serious? one assist does not make a good game.......once again I'm sure someone will post a picture opf the app ahowing Lia having seen most of the ball - what it doesn't show is that he game every second pass to the opposition

Queenslander 3x a year.

Stats do suggest Lia was one of out better players.

Just about every player repeatedly gave the ball away last night and Lia was better than most. He also covered a lot more ground than the other midfielders. For me it would be Stein 3 Ifill 2 and Lia 1. Everyone else was pretty f'n average!

Fuck this stupid game

Best
Stein: lacked aggression and looked to pass backwards too often but his ability to keep the ball was key to keeping us in the competition, and a fantastic finish.
Ifill: Just wanted to win badly and made their defenders look Fentonesque at times. If he can get his radar back
Dura: Only one at the back who remained calm in the first 20 and saved our bacon IMO. Siggy guilty of diving in for their 3rd.

Ok
Lia: Was involved a lot, did help us move the ball around but his defensive positioning was shocking for a CDM.
Reira: Looked to pass centrally too often I thought, and was lucky that it wasn't his second yellow but some of his passing was really top notch and is looking to be a good acquisition.

Bad:
Fenton: WOW, worst player on the park by far. No idea what happened, seems to go good performance bad performance. Not sure how Ernie is going to deal with this but maybe a week off isn't a terrible thought.
Kenny: Passenger, surprised he didn't come off at half time to be honest.
Brockie: Injured and hungry but not really in the game. Good assist though.
Oh and Moss: Shocker. Two goals he should have saved. Some so-so distribution too.
