Prior to Sunday's game did anyone have an issue with Timmins, no. In fact most were pretty positive and considering he's come from the nzfc he's done pretty well.

Yes Sundays game was so so, mainly because of the first half, be he was actually quite positive and effective in the second half.

I'll take on bad half over a lochead season of mediocrity any day of the week.

Timmins has shown generally to be better in the air the Lochead and certainly better with the ball at feet. His positional sense may not be great but then again his natural position is CB so thats understandable.

Whilst his passing game was a little shite it has generally been sound and is better than lochy's but MOST IMPORTANTLY... He can cross a ball.

lochy couldn't get anything past the first man... ever!!

Not true, there is no way that Dura would have to spend his time covering for wingers getting past Lochie

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Spec savers need to advertis on this forum - half or you are short sighted, the other are just blind.

They'd make a killing (especially if they had a prozac combo)

You being the exception, obviously?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I thought our defence done well this week, a lot more solid and first to the ball , they (Adelaide) didn't have much joy either side to speak of.
I like to see defenders pushing forward and attacking its essential in today's game (its how it used to always be), when it goes well its good but when it breaks down its frustrating, either way its part of Dura's  job to cover.

No - I'm just as blind as others. However, I do think I tend to be less reactionary than some forum members... some people on here are nuts!

No argument on that one! :-)

Then again I can recall a goal from a Timmins cross this season- I can't recall one from a Lochy move for the last two seasons.

Why not try Boyd with Brockie? Stein all at sea since his contract discussions broke in the press.

Why???? Brockie has done absolutely nothing all year and you'd want to pick him over Stein who has had flashes of brilliance at least......

I wouldn't be surprised if Ernie had said to Brockie in the last game, right this is it sunshine. Prove you're a good striker otherwise someone else starts next week. He came within a slight deflection of scoring, that would have got us in front. Was it enough for Ernie? I doubt it.

But Brockie has not been tried with Boyd as such. Who knows? Perhaps they just might click.
