Not our best....
Pasty 6 One good save, couldnt do much about the goals
Manny 5.5 Not in the game as much as usual
Siggy 6 Beaten a couple of times, led to goals, but otherwise strong
Dura 5.5 Gave ball away for first goal, tried hard to make up for it
Lochie 5 Some good runs, one good cross
Vinnie 6.5 One of his better shownigs, passing good, cleaned up well, did well at left back
Timmy 5 Didn't contribute much
Leo 5.5 All over the place, but too often running with ball towards own goal, nice cross!
Dani 4 Started with misplaced passes, then made a few useful passes, then faded into oblivion
Ifill 6 The combinations just didn't happen today
Greenie 5.5 Worked his arse off, but should have scored twice
Wardy 7 Reaally made a difference, don't like giving subs too high a rating, but I think he deserved it
Pavlov 3 OMG
Smith hmmm

I guess we were beaten by the better team, and the ratings wouldve been higher if we'd nailed one of the chances earlier, but... what do you think?

Dura's poor header was critical in the lead up to the second goal.  The timing of the first mistake which led to the goal just before the half was just such a blow to the team.  I'd knock him down to 4.5.

Sanchez up a bit I reckon, he wasn't a whole point worse than Brown. Can you put Pav in negatives? Aside from that horrible miss, what about his running along 5 metres offside in front of Bertos? It was like watching a kid who hadn't quite learnt the rules yet

If Pav had a brain he'd be dangerous. He is no footballer.

Sanchez woeful since hes been moved wide.

Ifill was largely static.

No-one seemed to know how to pass the ball forwards.

Truely dire stuff.

Paston 6 - did ok
Muscat 6 - average day out for Manny
Lochhead 5 - ran straight out of play at one point with the ball
Durante 4 - caused both goals today
SigmUnd 6 - not bad
Lia 4 - garbage. Total contribution in first half was 2 passes to nobody for 2 goal kicks
Brown 1 - simply incredible this imposter plays 90 mins every week
Bertos 5 - usual dithering, poor crossing etc
Sanchez 4 - posted missing, not a winger at all
Greenacre 4 - got to bury those chances
Ifill 6 - tried but can only do so much by himself

"If Pav had a brain he'd be dangerous. He is no footballer."

Agreed. The opportunities he's had and then gone and hashed is unreal

I'd knock Paston down to a 5, he yelled a lot but it was nothign useful all "out out". He never really took charge of the box. Agree with Lia - he was dire, didn't help that he and Brown were our centre mids, Ricki needs to drop one of them to the bench and let Smith start.

On reflection, I am actually quite positive from that game. We went toe to toe with the premiers, and looked just as dangerous as them.

Ward was actually quite a catalyst for me and Pav wasnt that bad at times. I wouldnt keep either of them if we are to aim for higher honours, but Ward could be a good squad player.

I was secretly hoping Brown would pick up a red card so we wouldnt have to bother with him next week.

If Sanchez is going to be played on the wing each week then we shouldnt keep him on next season

Giving Paston and Dura the same mark would be a disgrace.

I'd rate SigmUnd a 7. Otherwise agree.
