How to play well for a half then get destroyed.

Pasty 6 Pulled off an awesome save but then left with no chance
Troy 6 Did really well for an hour then his poor crosses let hin down
Siggy 5 Done over in the final 20 min
Dura 6 Was a one man defence at times in the final 20 min
Manny 5 Some great passes and defence in the first half, then taken to pieces in second
Leo 6 Good first half
Timmy 5 Better passes than usual
Lia 6 Covered the gaps well
Ifill 5.5 Ordinary
Pavlov 5 worked butt off but had several good chances and couldn't do anything with them
Greenie 6 Some fine shots that the keeper saved
Daniel A good shot
Ward Tried

What do you think?

I'm just coming in here to say I love Siggy.  Even when he's average I just love the guy.  At one point Muscat was lying on the ball in the box and players were easing their foot through the forest of legs to find the ball and Siggy charges in, having none of it, and just takes a swing and possibly hit two players in the process.  Not concerned about the welfare of the others, such a tough lad.  Makes me laugh very hard whenever he plays.  Not mocking him as he's a good player, but his rough style of play is highly amusing.

Too generous with Tim Brown...hardly in the game and when he is he's either doing suicidal short passess or falling over and getting himself booked

I think Brown needs a spell on the bench, just to gte that hunger again.

I agree with most here though... first half and second half were two completely different teams.

Id be surprised if hes playing this week, he was lacking against Paraguay, lacking against Heart, and now against Adelaide. Pretty much been at fault for goals in all 3.

Dura, North, Muscat this week please.

And Pavlovic is a victim of no reserve squad, chances are if he'd had more minutes playing football than sitting on the bench this season he wouldve had at least a couple of goals by now.

Manny played well, Bertos played well, Troy looked far better there.
Bertos looked like an in-form Ifill.

Muscat was asleep during second half and was caught out for two of the goals. Troy piss poor pass gifted them a goal.

Lia played really well as did Greenacre. Did I see Brown actually play a beautiful through ball, otherwise another ineffective effort from the invisible man.

Yeah I guess they just had their moments, what I mean is Hearfield looked a lot better in this game than previous showings this season, which have been pretty dismal..

The entire teams performance in the second half was very ordinary.. Reminded me of watching Stoke City play..Not sure how Rikki is going to change things, doesn't have the personel and every man and his dog in the A league has figured out how to shut Ifill down. I don't even think they will make the playoffs...

for 65 minutes he did sure, the rest of the second half he and the team were woefully inept.
