Bloody well done boys.

Warner 7.5 a couple of great saves
Manny 7 Worked as part of a tight team, cleared off the line
Siggy 7.5 Immense, lets pray that injury was only cramp
Dura 9 Immenser
Lochie 7 Covered each others asses
Wardy 7.5 A few errors, but what a set up for the goal, and some decent bits of tracking and covering too
Brownie 7.5 Great goal, his best game this season
Smith 7 Covered and covered
Leo 7 What a cross for the goal, and another couple of decent  moves, otherwise defended stoutly
Greenie 7.5 How the hell does he get on the end of just about every ball launched forward? Almost stole the game with that back header
Daniel 6 Did well too, another injury
Tsatt 6.5 Kept the momentum and pressure going

Ricki - it worked a treat well done. Now good luck finding a line up for next weekend!

What do you think???

Tempted to give Dura a 9 or 9.5. Thought it was a standout from him tonight.

True captain's knock.

I know, I know, its serious!

The defence was solid and composed. Manny was, well Manny. Durante was very good. SigmUnd got beaten early on but was still solid.Thought Lochhead was good too.
It was Brown's best game of the year for me. Still he's hesitant with ball at feet, but he tracked back and had a well taken, composed goal. A good performance. Ward gave the ball away a couple of times but thought he always looked likely and provided a bit of spark in the midfield. Bertos seemed indecisive on attack but this wasn't helped by lack of support. Nice ball to Ward in the build up to the goal.

Ricki should be happy with this performance. The team defended stoutly and intelligently as a unit and frustrated Brisbane to no end. Maybe a bit of a soft call even in the build up to the Roar's goal? But I suppose there was a bit of a trailing leg. It could have been so easy for heads to drop and concede a few more after that first goal went in. For some reason I feel like this was as good as a win!

Oh, and sack Ricki!

Piss poor effort.

Apart from the point and a gutsy team effort that will give any Nix fan the warm fuzzies the best news for me out of tonight was Warner's performance.

He finally got a serious workout and came through with flying colours. 3 or 4 high class saves, that last one especially.

totally, and he gave the defence a complete rark up when the sold him down the river....'bout time he gave them what for, some of the defence has been woeful this season.

Have to say I was surprised Warner stood up. Until then he looked very slow and sluggish and was not impressed with his attempted save last week. Credit to him for doing it when it mattered.

Warner was outstanding. As good as Durra was (and he was fantastic) my man of the match went to Warner. A couple of absolutely sparkling saves, and he Durra and Siggy were co-ordinating well... MUCH better than last week when we got ripped apart by passes in behind from the flanks. Roar tried to do the same thing, but the back of the bus was solid as bro.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Brown was still very guilty of passive ball watching in defending situations, offering absolutely nothing. So yes, maybe it was his best game in some time, but there is still something wrong in Tim-land.

Hopefully just a confidence issue that will be cured with another strong performance or two, but the totally static ball watching continued after his goal.

well its already been said but yea, Dura was outstanding. Also i thought ward played pretty well, tracked back nicely at times to make some decent tackles

perhaps instructions were to hold space rather than press?

Berisha was offside and it was justice that no goal was scored.

A shame perhaps for Durante that Osieck was off in Oman and not watching that one?

Best players for me in order were Durante, Smith, Greenacre, Warner.

Sorry, Durante is not good enough for Oz.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
