Poll: Which off-contract players do we re-sign?

You can vote for more than one player, but don't vote for a player(s) plus the "None of them" option because that makes no sense (even thought the poll will let you).

There are some tough choices to be made. I thought we could do a snap-shot of what people think now and then do it again near the end of the season.

Not very scientific but it will give us an idea of what the majority view is.

Had this discussion at work today. Everyone thought Sanchez should be re signed but couldn't agree on anyone else

I think we need 3 import slots available so none of the imports stay

I don't think we need 2 senior keepers and that would free up some space so Moss goes no. 1 (even though I'm not sure that's best for the AWs)

Toss up between Lochhead and Hogg.  Too early to tell really.  

And I'd move Muscat to RB for next season which means Leo doesn't make this side.

That still leaves us with a significant number of older players so it's time to introduce some younger talent

Oh and don't be a dick and try and vote more than once. Not saying that anyone did so far, but you know, just don't.

 I think the concern some seem to have about Paston not starting and still being the AW's #1 is a moot point, if he is benched/released from the nix, which I'd like to see his career is effectively done, ergo not going to be playing internationally.

Voted for Lochhead on the basis that I haven't seen Hogg yet, so hasn't shown that he is an improvement at this level, but read my response as 'one of the two.'  Bollocksed up because I missed clicking on Bertos apparently so he should have an extra in the final tally.  Voted Sanchez as, although I agree with JD that we need all three import slots available, I just don't think the owners have any inclination to splash the cash to get three better imports out here.  I do really hope we can get two.  If not, Herbert may as well just resign rather than cop the blame for an under resourced team that can't even play to its strength as the manager sees it.

OK, looking good for Dani Sanchez and Leo Bertos so far. They have the support of 12 and 11 respondents respectively (out of 18).

No one else really close.

I also want no more Lia and Huysegems, however they are contracted next season unfortunately.

That means we would re-sign an average of 3 players each, of the 9 available (although I knew it was a mistake to include Pantelis, he's not really in the frame).

Ifill, Sanchez and Huysegems. Dump Smith and Totori. Allows us to get a good foreign central midfielder and maybe a solid utility.
Marquee Midfielder would be a dream.
