That be Cannons Creek Park, my old home field. For any of you that have played on Stokes Valleys no.2 field imagine a creek with sides twice as deep/steep and than a 50ft waterfall, fun chasing the ball down that as an 8 yr old.

Mungavin Avenue. Take the right on the big roundabout after the off-ramp, follow the road and the park's on your right after a while.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Rugged up nice and warm.....and a couple of cold beers to boot......

I'm sure the players from the 'notable exception' are gutted they're missing out.

Quite disappointing really. But what can you do.

pffft...gratitude ?

You made him... he'd just be a gormless 2nd rate Napolean Dynamite impressionist without your coaching over the years.

Feverish the replacement ?

I've hardly had anything to do with the guy.  But when someone confirms to you (twice) that he wants to play and then changes his mind on the day you've got to ask questions about his levels of softness.

At least Wests players made themselves unavailable from the start, the didn't do flip flops on game day.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

You're welcome to take over this one at any time.  I'm sure with your extensive network of friends in the game you'd have no trouble putting together a squad.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
