Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I sincerely hope not.

Being totally selfish, although I can see Christchurch's point of view, Napier would get my vote with Hamilton second.

.....Although I'm aboslutely disgusted that Pukekohe hasn't been considered as an option in one of the polls. You could all stay at my place!!

whats wrong with the t-shirt? dig the mustache and aviators

QEII please.

Twas a great experience last year, with the Spam United Crew but this year I reckon a few well known chants could fly around and make it even better.

Would love it to be V CCM and give El**ch some well deserved sh*t.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!     The practice of giving El**ch well deserved sh*t is reserved for RoF dwellers for we had to put up with his sh*t for too many minutes that I can be bothered to count.  He also severely diminshed wellingtons pie supply

I voted Cchurh because it has the best potential for a good crowd and a secondnzaleaguefranchise

Napier would be fantastic- definite sellout at Park Island- or I imagine (if possible and I haven't seen footy played there) McLean park would probably be close to selling out. Christchurch would probably be the best place if looking at getting a decent crowd and drumming up support for the lads.

Definitely not Palmy (hole- although the best in terms of YF being able to travel to) and Auckland (had their chance).

Lol, Palmly  for sure, much rather have a saturday night in Palmy than Napier. Lots more fun to be had, and a way to get more fans from a city where Welly is easliy accessable. Hands down easy place to get to for anyone in the lower north island.
Ifyou think Palmy is a hole boy you need to get out more or change your friends

Much rather have a Saturday night out in Palmy? come on!! Obviously you've never had a night out in Napier! Was born in Palmy myself and have also lived in Napier- screw spending time in a city with the motto 'student city...' when it really doesn't have a hell of a lot to offer for them.

Also don't quite understand how me supposedly 'getting out more' (in Wellington) is going to make me appreciate the supposed briliant nightlife that Palmy offers.

I'm all about options, News.

Just had another look, it could grow on me. Hopefully better than the Mo grew in the picture! Wouldn't mind seeing a yellow version tho'

My vote is for Christchurch.  As I have said time and time again, we got over 10 000 to the All Whites vs Malaysia with minimal advertising, and over 4 000 to the Phoenix vs Queensland with even less advertising.  Christchurch has the potential for crowds the size of Wellington's - it just needs to be advertised...

Well said LoyalG.

Total agree. Papers and Radio stations have to get behind it if we are lucky enough to get the Phoenix back!

Keep it somewhere near Wellington imo and certainly not in the hell-hole of the South Pacific.

Those are impressive crowds. If the objective of playing away from Wellington is to grow the Nix fan base the important question is how many of those fans will travel to the RoF.

I'd happily settle for far smaller crowds in say Napier if it helped to get more fans to regularly travel to the RoF from Hawkes Bay and the Manawatu than would travel from Christchurch.

If the objective of playing away from Wellington is to make a few short term $s or grow interest in establishing a second NZ based A-league franchise then fair enough, play in Christchurch.

It comes down to what you are trying to achieve and how important it is (and how many) fans will actually travel to the RoF.

Looks like they're all in Wellington. Unless play-offs go anywhere else.

hard to say all when there is only three games with 2 away!, you've got to have at least one in the home town.
When the A-league expands I'm sure the preseason will be bigger and will allow for the phoenix to play elsewhere.

I am not surprised that Auckland is currently last in the polls.

I say Palmerston North or Napier. As they are the easiest to get to from wellington. And it we won't have to spend heaps on air fares as we would going to CH CH.

Used to live in Silverstream, LG. Love to come back but, unfortunately, liking my job and getting paid rather well for doing it make it just about bearable to work up here.

It's more flying back and forward, makes it more of an adventure
