Oh, I see...so it's OK to take the piss out of Auckland, but not out of Palmerston North?

Thought you would miss the point and come back with an irrelevancy, though this isn't a competition.
The promotion of the game is the point. Whatever the place.
Its very bad form for supporters to take the piss out of a place they are directly promoting the game. If I lived there and read some of the crap being dished out by (some of) the clubs supporters. My answer would be, F them, just f off back to Wellington you wan*ers!
Fans should get out there in the community and support!
And all those softcoc*ks who want to run home straight after the game with there tail between thier legs should stay home, with a nice warm blanket and a cup of baby formula.
P.S. I don't think this is the place to start being self rightous about Auckland, do you?

GO NIX!

Im a huge hard c**k and Im staying the night!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Was saddened with how "The Square" looked last time I was there.  But spose it had to be "flattened" to keep the delinquents away.

Firecats still going?

Yep the square was re-landscaped a few years back now after some serious assaults in the out of view areas. Did take away some of the atmosphere, but you can still experience duck sh!t around the pond and pigeon droppings on your car if you park under the trees.

Can't answer your Q on firecats but! However I think Steve-It's-art-not-porn-Crowe did consider Palmy a better bet for his boobs on bikes after Wgtn didn't bolster his coffers sufficiently.

Perhaps we could stage a Tartan Army-esque takeover of the main square - bevvying and dancing in the fountain.

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

I expect a suitably exquisite rendition of "We'll be coming" after the post fountain swim/bevvy session march from the square to the stadium.
